I'm off to bed...say a prayer tomorrow afternoon, I'm taking my menu test at work...it's not only extremely thorough, but I have to make a 90 or above to officially work...I might be slightly freaked out...
Good luck Amber, I'm sure you'll do fine.
To answer your question earlier, Chloe, I don't know what kind of school I'm gonna go to. I also don't know how much longer I'm going to dance. I might minor in dance in college, but my major is going to be Elementary Education. Maybe I'll be a dance teacher or something...idk.
*bump*
Dancin- I love your avatar! lolol
Hi all you dancers.
The radio mentioned Dirty Sanchez today at work, it made me laugh.
In what context, Sarah?
It was mentioned as part of a dirty joke.
Really? Were you listening to Howard Stern or something? I expected you to say that it was in some innocent context.
There are some nice Roger/Mimi (movie) wallpapers over on the Rent movie LJ.
It was the Dean Blundell show on The Edge in Toronto. It was just sort of an off the cuff comment, but I just happened to be listening at that exact moment, I don't even know what they were talking about before.
Just think, without Adam you would have no idea what they were talking about. (And maybe that would have been a good thing.)
There's something comforting about your nice familiar pineapple tonight.
Aww, glad I could be of service.
I think I was the only one who heard the comment, and I automatically thought of Adam and all of us figuring out what his T-shirt meant.

Aw, pineapples, Adam's ridiculously overworn shirt...good times :)
My test didn't go well today...lots of miscommunication/lack of organization on their part (including totally changing everything they initially told us about it)...do places not see how bad they look to an outsider? I dunno, I'm trying to be positive, but this is most definitely not...getting off on the right foot (even though I've been there a week already)
We seem to be getting all nostalgic over times that were a few months ago. Such is life on a message board.
Sorry about your test. Were you the only one taking it? What place is this - sorry if you've already mentioned it, I forgot.

Two other people were taking it. The girl who was going to grade it seemed a little, sympathetic about it, but the assistant manager was not so much at all...a restaurant (not sharing publicly, just to play it safe)...
ETA: Have I ever mentioned my love for Almost Famous? My sister just turned it on...such a good movie...

I'm making another valiant attempt to watch the Theatre Wing seminars, and just had a laugh out loud moment when Adam was talking about "negating self" by comparing it to taking off layers of clothing. Oh, Adam, if you knew how many girls would be going around quoting that if they actually knew of the seminars...
You're so right, Lexi. I remember that, and his joke about how he needed a lot of time to get to that point - "actually it takes years," or something like that.
Looking at it seriously a minute, I think that metaphor is a reflection of a certain struggle he may have witth exposing himself emotionally. He often brings it up.
Adam posted a new blog on his MySpace...if anybody wants to read it:

Hello Again...and thank you
hey everyone its adam here. please forgive me for not blogging more
often, but its just not my thing you know?
(but my wife has a great blog about food allergies http://allergycookbook.blogspot.com/). but here i am. id
like to say thanks for you all coming to myspace and being my "friends"
my record label tells me that, what exactly does that mean? i want to
tell all the people who came out to the various college shows i did a
few months back, that i had the time of my life, and it was in part to
you for coming and supporting me. as some of you may know, i grew up
playing in rock bands. it was always one of our dreams to play a
college tour. so this really was a dream come true. i can't wait to do
it again!
starting this fall, i will be back again touring with my piano player
larry edoff. if youd like to have us come to your school go ahead and
talk to your student activites board and lets make it happen!
in addition i am putting together a show of broadway material to tour
regional thateres. i am very much looking foward to that as well. it
will be a much different show. i will have a full band and be doing
exclusivly broadway/cover material. this is my "vegas show" if you will.
also id just like to mention that as well as a blog, my wife has a food
allergy cookbook out. both of our sons were born with food allergies
and the book was written around the concept of feeding a food allergic
family. i know im biased but it is phenominal, and for any of you who
have food allergies and love great food, check out the blog and the
book.
also as much as i hate to admit it i am out here in LA trying to do the
"actorboy" thing as well. so keep an eye out, i may turn up somewhere
on the tele.....
all the best to everyone
adam
P.S. stay away from perverts on myspace!!!!
Good morning everyone! I just realized that it's been about a year since I first fell in love with RENT. Which means it's also been a year since I first fell in love with Adam. Yay for me!
P.S. stay away from perverts on myspace!!!!
LOL.
That's so weird; I hadn't checked his MySpace in ages, but I decided to check it last night for some reason. And of course, today, he posts.
God, was he high when he wrote that? It's hilarious.
I hope some of that touring includes New York. I want to see this Broadway stuff, but... there's not much regional theater around here, obviously. Maybe he'll do it at Joe's Pub or something.
*prods student activities board*
Hehe! I love the P.S.
Very cute blog, though. Hmm... exclusively covers and Broadway tunes? What do we think?
I hope he turns up on my tele soon.
Tele? Have you gone Brit, Adam?
I think I'll comment. heh.
That really made me smile.
