re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

When I first read the message, I didn't notice anything too bad. Now that I've gone back and re-read it, I'm amazed at how bad someones grammar and spelling can be

Dancin: Same here. I guess I don't notice it that much, even though I'm a grammer/spelling freak at times. Then again, I don't even know how to spell "phenomenal."

Hee, he's such a shill.

Syracuse has a student activities board AND a regional theater! *pokes* I'd totally tolerate the thespians again if he came.

The best part of it is that he hates the LA thing. That makes me feel so much better; I was worried he would morph into a pod-person like the rest of Hollywood and be content doing acid reflux- or, god help us, erectile disfunction- medication commercials.

I don't get it, though -- if he dislikes LA so much, then why the hell is he out there?! Maybe he has real aspirations to be an actor and feels that his best shot is auditioning in LA, but no one's forcing him to be out there. Adam, go home. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

I agree Lexi. Adam should go back to NY. He was more known there anyways. He has a better chance of getting work or something to do. Adam hasn't really done any Hollywood type work to get him "on the tele." He hasn't done much movie work (well his biggest one was Rent). I think in the Hollywood world, he's just another rocker guy We miss him re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

I'm not really sure HOW to read the LA comment -- he may hate to admit he's really, truly doing the "actor thing," since he never really wanted to be an actor in the first place. Or he hates LA; but it's kind of like... it could be "yeah, I sold out, I know," or it could be an allusion to the sacrifices his career path kind of forces him to make, at this point.

LOL, Mandi.

I thought I read somewhere that they moved more for Cybele than Adam. And the auditioning I took as, "while I'm here, I might as well". I know it's not exactly what he wants to be doing, but it's money.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten

I think Adam is just trying another venue. He probably wants to 'try' and do the acting thing and see what's out there, and of course, get a job. I'm sure he'll come back. He knows acting (LA) is not his thing, maybe he wants to take a break from broadway.

That sounded repetitive. =/

True. That's how I initially read it, anyway -- he's not necessarily unhappy with himself at the moment for doing what he's doing, but it still pains him to admit that he IS doing what he used to say he'd never do.

And that he kind of has to do it -- cause he's got himself and a family to support. I suppose that at this point, it seemed like the only thing to do.

Nice to see everyone tonight. I took the "hate to admit" comment as just a reference to all the times he's said he *wasn't* going to pursue acting.

Grr, I can't get the pictures to open. My laptop's been so annoying lately.

About 20 minutes ago I won $100 on the radio! I was excited, wanted to share with you guys. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part ten It was a 5 question trivia thing that had been going on for a couple days.

I'm usually not awake at this time but I just started 3rd shift so I heard the contest on my drive home from work.
