It's...indescribable bliss. :-P
It's Middle Eastern as well, and it's made up of parsley and lots of other stuff. If you get it, you have to get it fresh. DO NOT get the packaged stuff; it's usually disgusting.

And babaganouj is an eggplant dip thing. I hate eggplant, but I love this.

You'll definitely be able to find hummus, Nia. It's EVERYWHERE! That other thing... maybe not. But I'm putting it on my list, and I'm going to have a look the next time I'm at the grocery store.

You still won't have any trouble, I don't think. I got a can of chickpeas for about $0.59 last time. The tahini will be the most difficult, but I found a jar in the health food section. Just Google for a recipe. They're all very similar.

Elphie, I also just found a recipe for tabouli.

1 cup bulgur wheat
2 cups boiling water
2 bunches parsley
2 roma tomatoes
1 (6 ounce) can black olives, chopped
3/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice

I think I'll try it!

Does that recipe sound good? Does anybody have a better one? I'm not a huge fan of black olives, but I think I can deal with that. I'll just use less!

It says bulgar wheat=cracked wheat. I hope I can find it! I'm excited to try this now!

That recipe sounds fine. I've never made it before, but I don't think you need the olives if you don't like them. I hope you enjoy!

YES!!!

ISN'T WHOLE FOODS AMAZING? I hadn't even HEARD of them until I explored the Shadyside neighborhood around here!!!
