Well, not too long ago I was watching School of Rock with my mom...pointing out how attractive I think he is, she kind of scoffed and went, "look at his hair!" I was like "um, mom, that's not really his hair..." But after Heal Me, I'm Heartsick, she kinda looked at me and she just went, "yeah, he can sing." It was a small victory in getting her to understand my love for him...not long after that, we were listening to the same song in the car, and she goes, "why does he even want to act, he should just sing!" Kind of an odd comment, but whatever lol

Hi Emcee. A couple of RENT boards have posts about Rosario Dawson appearing on the Tonight Show Oct 31. I don't know what she would be promoting other than the movie (though there could be something else), so maybe there'll be a clip on the show.

And I'm going to have to reset my VCR clock and relearn how to set it to record at a certain time, because I'm not sure I'll be back in time from Brilliant Mistake.

I can imagine! I'm quite ignorant about Elvis Costello's music, though Elton is a fan. He gave the speech inducting Elvis into the R & R Hall of Fame, and there was some backstage footage of Elvis complaining that Elton was stealing all of his jokes. Anyway, I gather that the music is quite eclectic, so there should be something for everyone.
But I don't suppose you're thinking much about Elvis here.

I'm not sure what to think about SOL remixes. This seems to happen all the time now, though.

I got really upset when they first started remixing AIDA. By principle, I was just mad that my sort of "sacred" showtunes were being tossed to the dance clubs. Many months after the show closed, my friend made me listen to one of them. It is catchy and works fairly well, but... I don't know.

I hate "remixes" on principle. I love Elvis Costello though, that concert sounds ULTRA sweet.

Hi Atrias - Brilliant Mistake is the name of the benefit concert of Elvis Costello songs being held on Halloween. Adam and Raul will both be there, along with a lot of other Broadway names.
