What's the dresscode like at functions like this?
Ellie, I've missed you!

Allie, I don't think I remember you. Who are you, again?

*VT snuggles* How've you been?
Emcee, you probably can't go wrong with a nice pair of jeans and a fancy-ish sweater or something. That's what I'd most likely wear.

Smart-casual is the way forward.
I've been goodish, Allie. Musn't grumble - things could be so much worse, just look at the news!
That's what I was thinking, as well.

Hey Ellie! Where've you been.
I got 4 hours of sleep last night. I'm really hyper right now but I'm sure I'll crash in about an hour.

You're right. Goodish is better than not goodish.
Great minds, Emcee, great minds.

Great minds think alike, but then again...fools seldom differ.
Talk us through your planned outfit, Emcee.
Well, I'm deciding between:
(a) White button down (3/4 sleeves) and these really deep teal corduroy pants I just bought with my jean jacket, since it's cold.
(b) Same shirt, but it's striped... it's mostly white, but has some blue, green and mauve(ish) stripes on it. It sounds weird, but it's pretty and jeans with a jacket I have that matches the purplish stripes.
I bet none of this makes sense.
Right now, I'm wearing shorts and a really skimpy tank top. I've regressed.

They both sound like lovely outfits, so I'm sure you'll look fab whatever you pick - but (b) sounds extra lovely.

I like Option B, too. Are you getting excited yet??
That's what I'm leaning toward.
I'm so excited, it's sort of pathetic. I haven't gotten any work done and I'm beginning to freak out about how it's all going to happen, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Not pathetic at all! I'm kind of excited that he'll be out in the public again, and that some new pictures will crop up in the very near future!
Eeeee, there's a contest in my newspaper to win a trip for two to see U2 in Montreal! Yaaaay!

I've always wanted to go to Quebec. If you win, take me. Please?
Just allow yourself to freak out as much as you want today, Emcee - worry about worries tomorrow.
ha, tomorrow is basically a 16 hour day or so, with only like two hours built in to do work. This is going to be lovely!

I could, Ellie. You'd have to get yourself to Halifax, because the prize includes return airfare for two from Halifax. But I really don't have any friends around here who are into U2!

You'd better get entering then! Whee. And maybe we could meet Celine while we're there. *dreams*
Oh wait, she's in Vegas.

I've already entered, don't worry about that! You can only enter once, though.
Anyway, I'm off to find something to eat. I've been wanting tacos all day, so I think I'll make them. Talk to you later!
Have fun, you lucky people!
And I'm in full Catholic mode. The power of Christ compells you...
Alright ladies, I'm off (to see the wizard?).
Have a lovely evening!

I'm kind of here. And FREEZING cold. I turned the heat up in my apartment, but I don't think they've turned it on in the building... in any case, it doesn't work. *shivers*
I'm freezing, too.*hugs* If we have to live in cold places, couldn't we at least be in New York?

I'm sooooo incredibly freezing right now. I got only like 4 hours of sleep last night and then was forced to go to a barbeque thing with my parents. Not only was it freezing, it lasted forever and I was so tired I was almost crying by the end of it.
