Hey, I remember looking at the picture in the CD bookletof him wearing the brown t-shirt with the eagle on the front and giggling at the "WTF?" expression on his face, but after seeing the movie... it's not so funny anymore. But I still love the print!
Wait...I suddenly feel very confused.
Someone just asked me how many times Adam and I have actually met.
So I counted for her.
And now I feel like the biggest loser in the WORLD.
I always liked that picture. I love the tortured look on his face. My mom said he looked confused.
How many times?

Hey, does anyone happen to have the Breakfast with the Arts performance uploaded?
Haven't seen it yet.
Em, does it make you sad? I'm sorry. I take it once? I've never even met him, be happy!!
Oh, no. I'm embarassed, definitely not sad! I feel like a big loser. You know that song he wrote?
Really, really close to the number in that song. Granted, it's been a few years and I have a stage door fetish, but still. That SONG.
Umm..I don't know the song. Just pm me.

Hah, I'm one of those people who saves every picture I like that I come across on the internet and rarely ever looks at them again. I found some random photo of Hayden Christensen (who I really don't find that attractive and I have no clue what it was doing on my computer, but anyway) and was like, "Wow, that guy next to him looks strangely familiar..." After a second, I realized that it was Adam. Heh, too funny.
He wrote this song, Book of Endings. It's tongue-in-cheek, but it's about crazy fans, and that perception he alludes to a lot of forced feelings of friendship and whatnot.
It's got this line "friends forever, 'cause I've seen you fifteen times..."
The song is interesting, and generated a LOT of discussion back when the CD was first released. People took a lot of offense to it, so eventually he went on the record and explained it.
I LOVE the picute of Adam and Hayden. My roommate loves Hayden and I love Adam, so I showed her the picture and we flipped out.
And it meant...
It was a general statement about crazy fans, and how they can be forceful in overstepping their bounds. He wasn't trying to be subliminal or offensive, or to say that he doesn't appreciate the people who support him. He's just had some crazy sh*t happen to him, but he said to keep in mind that the song is tongue-in-cheek.
As someone said at the time, one interesting thing about that song is that it kind of looks at the situation from both sides - being a fan and being an idol.
I remember surfing Live Journal once and being referred to as this crazy chick on BWW who thought that Adam was king of the world and would NEVER do anything wrong because I didn't read Book of Endings as a reason to take offense and hate him.
Okay! I get it now!
Anyway, the point was that I'm dangerously close to his "magic number" and I feel like an idiot.

Sorry to jump in, but *makes sound liken to that of a hurt animal* I seem to have lost Model Prisoner. Oh gosh...!
You shouldn't. It's fine. You aren't stalking him, really. You aren't going to his house and saying "ADAM! LEAVE YOUR WIFE AND KIDS AND LOVE ME!" You're fine.
Noooooo, I hope you find it, LBH!!
Exactly. I know my bounds.

Yeah, I'm sure he DOES appreciate fans who see him almost 15 times yet know not to cross the line into dangerously obsessed territory.
See, you aren't crazy. There are probably people eighty times worse than you. And LBH, FIND IT! I want a copy...*cries* SANTA! BRING ME MODEL PRISONER AND CIVILIAN FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!
