Also, long ago when he was first in Aida, someone interviewed him for her school paper, and asked him what his favorite holiday was. He said it was Christmas, even though he's Jewish.

I do remember one of those interview bits; what I meant was how do you know that he's HALF jewish? That's an obscure piece of information, I think...

Speaking of imdb, don't ever go to the Rent boards. They've exploded with hate. I've never seen so many extreme reactions to a movie. Geez. I've given up trying to defend Rent.

The slash thing was funny. Slash about real people sort of creeps me out. No offense to anyone who is into that though.

Have you guys ever lj-seeked Adam? It's quite scary sometimes.

Hmmm, am I the only one who really isn't bothered by people asking "personal" questions about him on the net? It's something I wouldn't do, and to be quite honest, threads asking for personal details on someone's marriage make me a bit uncomfortable, but I guess I can see why someone would want to ask. I'm guessing it's more out of curiosity and less because they actually want to stalk him. It's kind of the unfortunate consequence that comes along with fame -- people want to know about every aspect of your life.

To use a really bad analogy, it's kind of like the paparazzi -- I don't respect what they do, but I'm kind of indifferent to it as this kind of stuff has been happening forever. People love gossip on their favorite celebs... although, yes, sometimes it gets creepy.

Just my opinion. :)

siamese, the fact that people wonder if he's married or not isn't odd, but no one should insinuate any kind of rumor like that. Things can be misinterpreted and 'I wonder if he cheats' could end up in other places as other bits of 'news'.

It's also not truly public information.

Wow, I had no idea! I thought my mom and friend were crazy. Half-Jewish. *boggle*

Okay, I can only come back for a minute, but I had to log back on. Slash and fanfic make me mad when they try to insinuate relationships that weren't there because of some emotions displayed. To read into two guys living together and hugging each other so that it means that they are in love with each other is crap. I used to read fanfic and even post it, but it got so out of hand...I don't touch it anymore. There isn't anything wrong to me with keeping character pairings (slash or not) but I HATE when people read into men showing emotion as demasculinization (that may not be a word) and insinuating that they HAVE to be in love or more feminine because OH NO! Men showing emotion? GRRRRR...okay, so I could be completely off on my theory, feel free to disagree, but that's where I stand. And disclaimer, I see NOTHING wrong with slash in general, but when it stems from emotions portrayed, it makes me SO mad. Okay, off my soapbox. Hi again, everyone! Happy me is back!!! *yay*

And there isn't anything wrong with someone wondering about someone's life as long as they don't take it TOO far. NO stalking. BAAAAAD. Fan, that's fine. Curious fan, fine. Stalking crazy fan, NOOOO.

Right. I dislike that because people FANTASIZE about something, then suddenly they have to constantly insist that it's true. Like, people wish that Mark and Roger slept together? Fine. Wish all you want. But don't go around insisting that they're "meant to be!!!11!!!!" or worse, that Anthony and Adam ARE and absolutely must be, somewhere in their subconscious thoughts, deeply in love.
