Can you eat any kind of nuts? I'm sure you could substitute... maybe pecans or something.

I'm not supposed to eat nuts at all, because a lot of times all nuts are processed together, so there could be traces of peanuts... there's not really any way to know.

Mmmm, chicken. I've got a freezer full of boneless chicken breasts, because they were on sale last week. Buy one, get one free! I bought so much.

I have a freezer full of chicken, too! But... I'm too lazy to cook it.

This chicken salad is quite good, but I can't eat too much because I'm trying to keep these cramps under control, for once. I feel like I'm going to OD on Motrin; I'm supposed to take it 'round the clock. grr.

ETA: regarding cramps, try to head them off immediately. Don't wait until they've gotten bad to take something.

I need to eat before I can take the medicine, but I can't eat anything because I feel so sick. It's such a vicious cycle, so now begins the part where I lay in bed with my heating pad.

ETA -- that's what I've been doing. I've been nailing them with painkillers as soon as I feel anything in hopes of fending them off before they get bad. But it doesn't seem to be working.
