I just take generic ibuprofen, and it works great, as long as I take it the MOMENT I start to feel bad, or even before I start cramping. Then, a hot water bottle and a nap, and all is well again!
I think we ALL know which line Chloe is talking about!

Posted: 11/29/05 at 6:08pmI only take ibuprofen when I'm really in agony, because painkillers tend to make me tired/woozy. I'm sure on a scientific level chocolate is actually bad for cramps because of the caffeine and all, but eating chocolate makes *me* feel better, so that's how I usually cope.

Dr. Ruth is about four feet tall and 80 years old now. You don't see her around very much, but she was a big deal at one time. She was a sex therapist who became very popular on talk shows and such. Somebody said recently that she's best known for being the first person to say "penis" on TV. She has a strong accent too.

Pills and sleep...that's what I do, but unfortunately I have to leave now and practice for my show (dancing for 5 hours). It's going to be a long night

Sue Johansen is Canadian! She does college tours in the fall (she's never come here, though). I remember when she was on Degrassi in the 80's for an episode. Fun stuff.
