I haven't watched it very closely yet, but it's possible. I was wearing a purplish sweater.

We're very... present fans. Video Blogs to come ... Just giving him the love he deserves. Video Blogs to come ...

I think he's said he has allergies, but smoking certainly wouldn't help that! Funny thing is, he never ever ever smells like smoke, and his teeth are a *perfect* shade of white. It sounded allergy-ish to me. *deems self queen of allergies*

When I watch it again (which I'm sure I will, for whatever reason, despite the fact no new info was said), I'll definitely look for you.

Hm, strange. Are you sure he doesn't have veneers? I don't think they look fake, but so many celebs have them (*thoughts of Hilary Duff's so obviously fake teeth*) and his teeth are ungodly white. I also could have sworn I read an interview with him from the early Rent years and he said that he stays away from cigarettes, but I guess that could have changed. It just seems strange for anyone to start in their mid-20s/early 30s, especially in a profession that requires one's voice to be in great shape.

I have really bad allergies too, although they tend to manifest themselves by making it really difficult for me to breathe at night. Yeah, not pleasant.

Well, no, I'm not sure. Video Blogs to come ... He does have a great smile, though. He works hard to take care of his voice, so it'd make sense for him to have stopped smoking. He *used* to, though. Like, as a teenager.

I just sneeze all the time.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to imply anything (because quite frankly, I don't think they look fake), but just throwing that out there.

Em, do you have curly brown hair?

Yes, but it wasn't curly today. It was straight-yet-messed-up-from-the-snow.

I sorta assumed the constant throat-clearing was just something he did when he was nervous or anxious, just how some people bite their nails or twirl their hair or whatever. Allergies probably make more sense, though. Ugh, allergies. My throat has been on fire the past couple of days.

On top of the taking care of the voice and the perfectly white teeth, another thing that would point to Adam not being a smoker for a long time is that in those really high-quality close up pics, it's clear the boy has perfect skin.

Grrrr, they evacuated my dorm 2 hours ago because they found a suspicious package or something, and I just got back in a little while ago. And I had just gotten out of the shower when they made us leave, so I was standing out on the street in the lovely 30-degree weather in my nightgown, with my hair all wet Video Blogs to come ...

Go sit by the heater!

I guess I assumed he smoked cause some Anthony post forever ago mentioned that while most of the cast did smoke, he (anthony) and tracie did not. I remember that surprising me ... how crazy to think that broadway singers could smoke and still sing?!?

I don't know how they do it.

I got the impression from Anthony's post, though, that some of them are like... occasional smokers, as opposed to crazy chain-smokers.

There was a post on IMDb from someone who went to high school with him and said he was always smoking in the halls. I remember that article in which he talked about giving up a lot of stuff, including smoking, because of his vocal problems singing 8 shows a week. Of course he was smoking onstage in Cabaret, which was around the time he started losing a lot of weight too. I hope he stops again though.

His teeth do look great. Maybe it's just whitening though. Most performers do that as a matter of course.

haha, *there's* the bad-boy image!

Everybody smoked on stage in Cabaret, but I'm not sure if they were real cigarettes or anything.

There's a photo of him smoking on the Rent set.

His teeth make xerox paper look drab.

My guess: possibly an occassional smoker. Maybe he quit a long time ago, but got back into the habit with Cabaret and still does. He couldn't be a chainsmoker, his teeth are just way too white.

I hope the cigarettes aren't hurting him. It's amazing what they will and will not do. Some people start when they're twenty and are dead of lung cancer by forty, but one of my favorite writers, Kurt Vonnegut, has been chain-smoking unfiltered cigarettes for over sixty years. At eighty-two, he's still angrily alive and kicking.

Also on IMDb - the inevitable thread. "Who else wanted to $%^& Roger?"

Smoking in the halls- high school must've been very different in the eighties. Chloe, can you find that post?

When people talk about the Rent movie, someone always says 'Roger is hot!' and someone else usually goes 'I love his voice'.

Sorta wish they'd love his acting or care enough to perpetuate his fanbase, but you know. Take what you can get.

Hey Nia - I'll look, but that board has been crazy the last couple of weeks. Anyway, that's all there was to the post.

Some people are starting to appreciate his acting too. There was also a thread along the lines of "didn't you love when Adam..." pointing out some of his subtle little touches in the movie.

Em, were you one of of the cheering/screaming girls in the audience today?

I'm the least vocal of the people I went with. I mean, I had to cheer for him a little bit, but I'm not a crazy screamer.

It was very exciting watching it! It's too bad he didn't perform, though. That would been amazing.

They took a guitar out on one of the breaks and put it behind the chairs. I thought it would be for Adam, but it was for John Lithgow to sing one of his childrens' songs.

Car noises? Wow, how did I miss that? Was it on the dreaded A&E interview that no one has put online yet? Or something else? I love Adam- I hope he doesn't still smoke a lot, he's way too talented to lose his voice!
