Curlyheads want straight hair and vice-versa...grass is always greener on the other side.
Fortunately, i've never been upset w/ my hair color. Aside from it really lying somewhere between brown and blonde, it changes a lot, under warmer weather or better lights, it seems to be blonder, sometimes brown w/ blonde streaks, etc. No reason to dye it.
On another note...gotta write an essay today, taking what some dude wrote is good poetry and applying those principles and arguing that a film is good...well after reading it and doing some deducting the three points I'm going to emphasize this dude says are a poem/film should use the language of man, not fancy 26 letter words, the author should be an expert on the subject, but feelings one gets out of it should be more important than the actual events/circumstances, and even sad poetry should leave the reader feeling pleasure when she is done reading it.
I know this is really hard, but who can guess what movie I'm going to write about?
Gee, I wonder.
I'm cutting off about six inches of my hair when I go home.

Haha WRQ.
How long is your hair right now em? I'm pretty happy with my hair right now. When it's brushed and I'm in direct light, sometimes it looks like I have reddish/gold highlights. I just think a streak or something would be fun. Nothing too drastic.
I tend to get nice golden-brown highlights naturally during the summer. I've never been tempted to dye my hair, especially after the one summer when my mother used a shade of hair dye that didn't react well to the sun and wound up with a lovely orange tint to her hair.
Hmmm, whatever could wickedrentq be writing about? *ponders*
Ugh, I'm looking over my notes for Principles of Financial Accounting and wondering how I'm going to remember, let alone understand, this stuff during the exam. I'm allowed to bring one double-sided sheet of handwritten notes with me to the test, and I don't know how I'm going to fit all the stuff I think I'll need but won't remember on my own.
Meh, I even procrastinate when I'm looking forward to writing the essay. Here's a snippet of my hair, seems to be on the lighter side in this pic.
It's about halfway down my back, theatrebabe. About to the middle of my spine, I'd say. I measure (this is so silly) by the back-strap of my bra. It's like an inch past that.

Oh wow. That's long. 6 inches should bring it to your shoulders I guess? That'll be pretty.
I'm growing out my hair for our towns production of Les Miz this summer. My voice teacher said not to cut it before auditions. It's only about 2 inches past my shoulders. Not that anyone cares...
Yeah, about to my shoulders, and then I'll put some layers in it.
I've never been able to layer my hair because I dance and need to be able to put it up, so my hair is just one length and it's this blob on the back of my neck. I need to change it up soon.
Just make sure the shortest layer is still long enough to put your hair up!
That doesn't work because when I cut it, I cut it above my shoulders.
Yeah, that's the one major drawback to layers. When it's really hot out and I want to put my hair up to get it away from my face, I can't.
That's exactly why I'm cutting it now, so that it'll have grown a bit by the time it gets hot.
ooooo very smart
My hair is a beast, I'm very tempted to hack it off...but I'm always really emotionalyl attatched to my hair, as strange as that sounds.
Oh see that's why I always prefer to have my hair longer. It's really thick, and when it's longer it keeps me warmer in the cold weather, and I could put it up over the summer in a wrapped bun if it's that hot.
Marlene, your avatar is BRILLIANT.
I keep flip-flopping between letting my hair just keep growing (because I do love it long) and cutting it off.
Don't cut your hair, Em, it's so pretty long!
And my hair's dishwater blond, theatrebabe. Or, as they say "hair colored hair".

You're a blond? Really? I always pictured you as a brunette. Strange. I seem to picture eveyone as a brunette before I meet them.
I'm a brunette, theatrebabe!
me too!
Atrias, you never had a picture of you as your av, did you?
For awhile I thought you were a readhead theatrebabe, I think it was the lighting in one of your avs.
Thanks, Emcee.

Hehe, Adam is a dirty blond! I love it. My hair is kinda caramel colored, like brown with blond highlights. I dyed it red once, and really really dark brown (almost black), and now it is pretty much back to my nautural color.
This is probably mentioned over on the main board amidst all the yelling and screaming ... but Rosario won the Golden Satellite Award for supporting Actress. Hmmm...she gets to make out with Adam and get awards for it. Quite the life :)
