I would also feel pretty awkward having myself as my avatar, especially since my boobs tend to be the focal point of most of my pics (unless I'm having a really puffy hair day, then the hair competes with the boobs).
I've gotten messages like that too, Chloe.

Yeah, seeing one's own face next to every post would be kind of freaky. I have no problem posting my pic (actually, I think it would be kind of cool if we all shared pics... I'd love to put a face to everyone's username*), but seeing it as I scroll down every page? No thanks.
*Although, I'm sure everyone has already. Heh, I'm so far behind!
I don't feel comfortable posting pictures -- not because of you guys, but because anyone on earth can read these threads, but I'll show you privately. Nothing special.
Yeah, I get lots of those amusing PMs too.
Watching the BBC Pride & Prejudice w/ my mom(she never saw this version), so that's uplifting my mood.
Gee, suddenly I'm in the mood to watch 10 Things I Hate About You...can't imagine what I'm seeing that's making me think of it.
aw! Who's with you? That's not Ava, is it? She's not blonde...
Karbacz? I didn't recognize her with straight hair!
haha really? whenever i saw her it was with straight hair.
Mel, cute pic. Your hair looks so pretty!

You're gorgeous x. :)
That's me on the left. But I look kinda doped up.
Mine is crazy poofy since I cut it. It's ok if I flat-iron it, but if I don't, it's all poof. Not even curly. Just poof.
Atrias! Sad Jakey!
thanks Billboard.. yea i iron my hair everyday or else its just gross.
cutee picture theatrebabe! :)
Ah, Pride & Prejudice. I remember in my sophomore year of high school, all of the other English classes were reading A Tale Of Two Cities and having all sorts of difficult assignments, and I had the easy teacher who decided, screw that, we're watching the Pride & Prejudice miniseries instead.
Yup, watching the miniseries. It was on the biography channel recently b/c of the movie coming out over 3 nights so I taped the whole thing.
Ulgh, I think when I can get back outta the house when the stupid weather's better, I'll rent 10 things. Very much into the mood to see Heath lead a High School marching band in "I Love You Baby."
I found a fansite where you can download him singing that.
There were so many teen movies that year or 2...10 Things is one I can still stand to watch. She's All That is prob my fav of the time though--so representative of teen movies but the first and something addictive about it, I can't not like it, but some I knew were bad even then(Whatever It Takes...yuck)
I have the entire miniseries of P&P on dvd.*dances with joy* Hey Em, can you send me the link to that clip?
Ten Things is a fun movie. The only thing I didn't like was the dad - he got a little creepy. But otherwise I thought it was really good.

I agree with Emcee about pictures- it's weird to have any random person peruse this thread and see your face.
Ten Things is my favorite teen comedy ever. Witty and hilarious and full of Heathcliff.
I can't believe his name is Heathcliff.

I love Ten Things. I thought the dad was hysterical.
"Where are you going?"
"If you must know, a small study group of friends."
"Otherwise known as an orgy??"
"Mr. Stratford, it's just a party."
"And hell is just a sauna."
Hahahaha.
