Okay, still feeling a tad icky, a little better...tutored, made some money today(very necessary) but now realize I'll prob be under house arrest for 2 straight days due to stupid weather, which is really not what I needed, I started planning things to do to get out, thought it would make me feel more myself...ulgh.
Well, I still want to see the Producers...I never saw Lane and Broderick in the roles, so I think that's enough reason for me...it's weird I really do enjoy it though I often forget it exists...I almost feel like w/o our community it suffered from being so overhyped that even those of us who say oh it's good/great hafta preface it w/ not as great as everyone said it is, etc. Well, at this rate, it'll be a couple days before i actually get to see it...though I was watching WSS movie recently and did some thinking...Robert Wise and Jerome Robbins co-directed that...I think that's a great way to go about movie musicals...combine the bway director, familiar w/ the show who can true to it and jazz scenes up w/ a film director who knows necessary changes that need to be made for films and such, and boom you got a film as wonderful as WSS.
As much as I love BBM, really glad to know I'm not the only one who...really enjoyed...hot, gay characters...making out

I really wanna go to a gay bar too.
Someone in my family was very surprised when I told them Adam's married w/ kids, thinking he seems kinda gay...
Billboard, see DRS!! A matinee may be one of the few days it's up there, but if not you can get tickets in the last 3 rows for $41...I've sat there a couple times, you see everything fine, it's not that far back at all and esp. if you've never seen the show...see it!! I'm going back the 8th, second row, thank god! If nothing else, that will take me out of funk, I'm taking my sister for the first time and I know Laura Marie Duncan pretty well and I'll be right where she goes into the audience so she said she's gonna "acknowledge" me somehow. I'm so excited. Grr, I wish it was Sunday...or Thursday, I should be seeing something then and bowling...I haven't even bowled in 2 weeks! I think everything seems so off and not like usual lately that's also contributing to my funk.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
