Nia, and just for the general record... I'm not Siamese, any form of Asian, etc. LOL! No, I don't mind if you ask my racial background at all... I'm Italian, German, and Icelandic.

I'm a Smashing Pumpkins fan and it happened to be the album (Siamese Dream, that is) that was playing when I signed up here, so hence the username. I'm glad you asked. Heh.

Oh, and Em, just to let you know: I don't know what happened to AIM, it said you signed off in the middle of our conversation. Don't worry about it, though, it's best I got off anyway -- I have SO much work to do for tomorrow and AIM has a tendency to keep me away from things I should be doing! I'll just hang out on the thread.

I'm in a surprisingly good mood considering I have about, oh, two hours to complete all the homework that I should have done over Christmas break. I'll just keep telling myself that the grades don't matter considering my college choice is already finalized.

Not nearly as much as you -- I have like, 60 problems in pre-calc and a sociology paper. Still, though... blah. Are you done with all your stuff?

Nia, I was accepted ED to NYU a couple weeks ago. I think I've mentioned it on this thread before, but it's pretty easy to miss stuff. :) So, really, I don't have to worry about grades at all, but I still would have this awkward feeling if I were forced to go the teacher and say that I didn't do the assigned work.

Heh, I always say that to myself as I type posts. I have the tendency to slip into passive voice about, oh, 75% of the time when writing casual conversation-ish posts like these.

Anyway, I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. I'd probably pull my hair out if I didn't have a easier load to look forward to next semester.

Regardless of everyone's stress and work, at least the thread's brightened up a bit... ?
