ITA Em. I mean, they still are in DC and could take advantage, there is a Georgetown-Foggy Bottom(where GW is) shuttle for $1 but I don't know how deep into Georgetown campus that goes...still a bit of walking would get them there but still there just seemed to be a huge difference between that campus and a college where one of the dorms is in between the Kennedy Center and Watergate chocolate!

We are NOT staying up until 3 in the morning this time! Well, I'm not. I've got to get me a schedule.

I have to break this sleep cycle. I think the only way to do that is to get up early, but I just can't bring myself to do that. If I'm up at 3, make me tear myself away from Lulu.

Why is it that I feel more tired when I sit around doing nothing all day (aside from going with my mom to the travel agent and the deli this morning, I've basically been sitting on my bed with the laptop all day) than when I'm busy actually doing stuff?

Oh that makes perfect sense Billboard, you just never fully had to wake up...I find if I sleep for like 13 hours but do nothing all day I'm more tired than if I slept 8 but was busy. Fortunately, w/ the weather doesn't seem like I'll have any reason not to sleep late.

We're not staying up till 3...please..you guys know when I'm night recovering from an illness that going to bed at 3 is early for me. Granted, I don't go back till January 30th and even then I'll just hafta wake up for an 11:00 class 3 times a week, otherwise can stay on my insane sleeping schedule..I like it chocolate! There was something really fun about going to bed an hour before my mom woke up(she's retired now so no longer wakes up at 5)

Yeah, I should really get to bed, too. I can't stand the thought of getting up at 6 AM tomorrow. Blech.

I hate the feeling of sleeping until noon, and then it being like 5:00 before I turn around.

I used to feel that way, but..it depends on a lot of factors, I think I rarely feel that way anymore. Again if I know for some reason be it, not feeling well, weather related, or just nothing at all better to do, that I will just be sitting at home for the day trying to entertain myself, then I don't mind feeling as though I've "slept the day away." I was embarassed but thought it was funny the one time i slept till 4 and had about 20 minutes of daylight while i was awake, that was a first. But actually once I adjusted to this schedule, even like if I knew I had homework to do and I slept till noon and before I knew it, it was 5, I knew that would still mean like 10 hours to do homework--5:00 stops meaning a normal 5:00, ya know? It's like I say good morning at 2PM, so "nighttime" really doesn't begin until 10/11 and then bedtime's like 3/4.

Aaaaaaargh. Why the F*CK does Midol contain caffeine? I mean, caffeine is bad for you - why is it in MEDICINE that's supposed to help alleviate feeling crappy?

*frantically searches bathroom for Motrin*

Midol has caffeine? Scratch my idea to try THAT. I was so horribly hyper on New Years' Eve, from like two cups of caffeinated Coke.

Does anyone shake from caffeine? If I have anything more than a small Coke, my hands will literally shake for an hour or so.

If I'm not mistaken, Excedrin has caffeine in it too. It just really puzzles me.

I overindulged in chocolate during one day of my cruise last week (ate a 9-piece box of dark chocolates I bought in St. Maarten as an afternoon snack, then had some amazing dessert of warm chocolate cake drenched in chocolate sauce with my dinner) and felt like a mess afterwards from the caffeine in the chocolate - my head was pounding and my mom thought I was going to throw up. I was like "see, this is why I don't drink - if I can get this bent out of shape from CHOCOLATE..."

Weird. I feel a lot more awake now, and all I did was type about chocolate, not actually consume it.

Getting caught up...I LOVE The Princess Bride. I have it on DVD and everyone's always asking to borrow it.

Anthony threads. Yikes. It's kind of weird that his threads are so overrun with fangirls, considering he's not a normal pretty boy actor. But I guess they figure that since he reads these boards (or at least he did) they're just really vying for his attention or something. ("Pick me! I love you the most! Look at my obsession!")

I wasn't sure of where I wanted to go for college until winter of my senior year and even then it was dependant on who accepted me and who gave me money. Still, I felt like it was too easy for me and now my sister is applying to college and I've set up this impossible standard for her to live up to. chocolate!

And caffeine and ADHD don't get along, so I tend to avoid it.

My brother is simply obsessed with going about the process in the complete opposite way from which I did it.

The way I approached the process was not normal at all (never took an SAT prep course, only visited/applied to one school), and I'm worried that my brother might not realize that. I feel like a bit of a hypocrite telling him about the importance of doing things I never actually did, but he needs to do them.

My brother is just like "psh, I hate school!" He knows what he wants to do, so he thinks if he ONLY focuses on that, he'll be golden. He wants to major in music, and then teach, so he thinks his other courses don't matter.

BBM is so my new Rent. I hear the music, double take, see the trailer, sit up too fast for my own good and glue my eyeballs to the TV in order to just be with those characters for a minute or so. yikes!
