I just skimmed through Em's post really quickly and saw the words "sparkly" and "arms." My brain feels all warm and fuzzy now.

Pretty pictures!
I'm scared. My mom is REALLY sick with the flu, and I can NOT get sick. She's been incapacitated for five days, with no signs of getting better, and if that happens to me, I am royally screwed. I've been washing my hands obsessively and I'm afraid to touch anything. And I feel like a bad person for being so worried about me getting sick when she's feeling awful. I took a pre-emptive ibuprofen because my paranoia is telling me I'm not feeling well.

Ahhhh, the arms. *drools*
Em, I think I prefer the first icon. The effects used in the second one sorta make it look like he's about to be attacked by a giant snowflake

I do the same thing, Elphie. If my roommate like, sneezes, I get worried. Ironically, I always get sick and she never catches a thing from me!
I think some (okay, most -- especially on guys) are tacky. But I really like Adam's. Ones that totally take over are really tacky, but I think (girls especially, and artsy men, I suppose) are better at making them tasteful. If you look really closely at Adam's (or at the Model Prisoner disk, which is the same image) you can see that it's a series of hearts, all intertwined.

Elphie, have you ever taken Airborne? In the college dorm world, where everyone catches everything, it has saved me many times. You take it at the first sign of getting sick, and it does a really good job at stopping whatever it is that is making you feel like crap. You should also walk around with Purell hand sanitizer.
