That does make sense, Mel.
I'll just blame it on my blonde hair.

I eat lunch in the hallway, or outside. And yeah, the school wasn't supplying the knives, the girl just decided that it would be a good idea to bring it, since the other girl "stole her man." chocolate!

I love some of the reasons why people get into fights, they never make any real sense.

Don't forget the bottled water. You never know when the E coli will end up in the water supply again.

Have I mentioned how much I miss school? No, seriously, minus all the work, risking death is better than sitting home doing nothing. chocolate!

Wow...my school had the reputation for that stuff, but it was never THAT bad...though when I met ppl from the "richer" school in the county and told them where I went, they asked if I'd been shot yet...

I think my school was a watered down, not as bad version of the school in Save the Last Dance...but fortunately the only thing I ever had stolen is my lock(I had one friend who enjoyed making fun of me too much...I always put my lock on the top while I changed my books, and he would pass me, steal the lock, and stand to the side while I looked up to see it gone and searched frantically for it.)

Okay, found the Adam/Emcee discussion...12 pages ago chocolate!

I only saw the show once live and I had Secada...I mean I remember thinking he was great, but it was quite a few years ago, and I think back then I was still in a far less critical aspect for Broadway.

But...I, umm...recently have gotten to see Adam in Cabaret. At times it's uhh, difficult to see his face which sucks but...he seemed to do a good job dancing-wise in Wilkomenn. Or maybe it's b/c I had trouble seeing his face, b/c Two Ladies I went back to laughing...still an improvement over LVB but...still funny.

Really glad I got to see that though, soo different from anything else he's done to see him commit to the role like that was really a treat.

Oh, and I go to shows alone all the time. Pretty much, I try to find someone to go w/, but sometimes I'm just like ya know I want to see this show this day, I'm going or even I'm so determined I just screw asking ppl and just get the ticket myself...usually I make friends w/ ppl around me or even if not most of the time the show is so captivating I don't need company. And if nothing else, I always nap during intermission.

I hope BBG went to see Scoundrels, but she may not have b/c Norbert is out...

Hola everyone ... survived another day. Wahoo!

Skittles - I do like Adam and Daphne's LMC too but I can't really tell if it's cause it's the one I've heard the most or if i really like it. I do like the Rosario one too ... and something about having the flirty eyes on the screen with the new version def helps. :chocolate!:) However, I hate hate hate hate hate when I see it live and the girl's part on the word "candle" goes down instead of up. DRIVES ME NUTS. Manley was the first Roger I saw and I liked his half of the song but the girls part was all screwy. I couldn't tell you who it was though. I do remember that during most of my 5 times seeing it, the girl part was weird in that song.

wrq ... i've never had the opportunity to experience that of which you speak. Could you perhaps PM me to furthur discuss this cabaret experience? :)

Adam and Daphne had more chemistry than Adam and Rosario.

#12613

chocolate!

yeah, that's what people seem to say, I just never saw either of them cause I didn't see it in NY til Dec 1997. I enjoy the screen chemistry since I never got to experience the other one. If only I had jumped on the band wagon just 6 months earlier :)
#12614

chocolate!

i've only seen Adam and Daphne from a bootleg I have of the show..and they are incredible together, they really are. I love watching Another Day because they get so angry at eachother. They have suchh good chemistry.
#12615

chocolate!

Adam and Daphne just came across as so much more natural, to me. Not that he and Rosario were bad, but they weren't as hot.

Yep, he got all excited about A Little Night Music, but I didn't get to see it. There's a thread called "Jake Gyllenhaal likes Showtunes." chocolate! Apparently, he sings!

xM3L24x: About the To Kill a Mockingbird subject, I read it, and although it was a bit hard to get attatched to in the beginning, I loved it by the end, so it's all good. chocolate! And you must send me that Adam and Daphne bootleg of yours!

"Haha! Yeah, more power to Rosario 'cause I'd be doing the EXACT same thing (yes, even on national TV). "
siamese: Gosh, really? I'd be too fricken scared like..."Would this be considered as sexual harassment?"
I'm a very cautious person. :)
