I need to see it! No one here knows anything about it. I was talking to my friend and she was like, "What's it about?" I feel like I live in a wierd sort of bubble.
"Blow out the candles, Robert, and make a wish. Want something. Want something."
Actually, my feet are killing me. They're so sore that they sort of tingle, and my legs are sore, too. I was standing in one position for like three hours straight today, and that did a job on my legs and feet, plus my shoes weren't very comfortable.
Aww, poor Em. In that case, you should just sit down and rest your feet. The food shopping can wait until tomorrow.
"There was this one time an alarm went off - it was in the middle of '24.' That's just wrong. Everyone knows everyone was watching '24' at that time."
--NYU student quoted in the Washington Square News about students ignoring the frequent fire alarms in dorms
Same here, Elphie. I was talking to one of my friends about it and she has no idea what it's about. It FINALLY opens an hour away from me tomorrow, and I'm going to see it this weekend. I'm really looking forward to it.
I never made my bed til college ... but with lack of other furniture I didn't want people sitting on my sheets so I always made it. (Easy trick - had a full sized comforter for my twin bed) Now that I'm a "grownup" (use that term loosely) and live alone, I only make it if I'm having people over because the bathroom is connected to my room so people will see it.
Why make it? I'm just gonna get up, go to work and come back to home and bed :)
When I was younger, my art teacher in elementary school used to do this safety demonstration every year. He told this story about someone fooling around with a paper cutter and getting their fingers slices off. They've scared the crap out of me ever since. I'm afraid of big knives, too.
