I haven't heard A Little Night Music either, Som, but his pure ecstacy at hearing it at the U2 concert (not to mention the very concert I was at) totally won me over.
BTW, side note - Heath is actually Heathcliff, and I think the IMDB bio says his sister's name is Catherine, after the Wuthering Heights characters. Who the hell would name their KIDS that?
There's a shot in Brokeback of Jake asleep, and he looks like he's wearng a TON of smokey grey eyeshadow.

I saw a street named Heathcock the other day.
Jake HAS to be queer. He likes showtunes and he's just too pretty.
I was on a street called Bowcock.
This, however, is not Jake at his best:
I forgot about that movie Fantab. Em, it looks like he got punched or something in your picture, he looks all bruised.
*giggles inappropriately at the street names*
He did get punched.
Aww, I need to see this movie. Although I have a feeling I'll be thinking about Adam and Raul the whole time.
i just read back a few pages...this thread is getting naughty! lol..
hotness Raul + Adam gahhh... *drools*
Nah, you'll get right into the characters as they are on screen. Those two completelly disappear into character; they won't even be "Heath and Jake" to you, but completely, entirely "Jack and Ennis."
Excellent, I really enjoy movies like that, where you don't realize that you're watching a movie.
It figures that since I don't have to wake up early tomorrow, I'm too tired to stay up late. Good night, everyone.
good night!
Not that I know what Heath or Jake are like at all, but I don't think they are much like Ennis and Jack. The only thing in common is their prettiness on the eyes.
Jake is apparently very outgoing, and FUNNY. I was reading an interview with Heath where he talked a lot about love; he said that Ennis has no idea how to love, which isn't the way he himself is at all. He says he's really romantic. *melt*
Yea, I read an interview where he talked about love as well. Maybe it was the same interview, or maybe he really likes talking about love so he has done it multiple times. *swoons*

I officially have images of Raul and Adam being sexy cowboy “friends”. I thank you all for this. This is good, VERY good.
I haven’t seen Brokeback Mountain, but I can’t wait till I do (I am trying to save all my money so that I can go see Anthony in PA at his book signing- so I’m not sure if I want to pay for it…). I have never really liked pictures of Heath, but the accent always gets me every time. I don’t think I’ve seen Jake in anything, but he’s really cute!
It was one of the most recent ones on Heathbaby, Fantabulous.
I think part of the reason Heath so easily disappears behind Ennis is because of the accent. Speech is such a base level of identity, that once he loses that, he's halfway there.
Well, I'm off to go finish packing then to bed. And tomorrow I'll be home!!
"Skittles-eww. Redskins(Giants fan). I don't think you have very good taste in sports teams..."
It's not the Redskins' fault the Giants suck.
Adam and Raul doing ANY musical together would be hot. Seriously, I wish they would, but I feel like their vocal styles are too similar, so instead of being cast opposite each other, they'd be competing for the same role instead.
After the Redskins victory, I did end up seeing Brokeback Mountain tonight. I'm still recovering.
Although, I was about to attack this group of women across the aisle from me. During the sex scene, they giggled the whole way through it (they were in their 30s at least!) and one woman just exclaimed "Ew, that's so gross!" WTF, have they been living under a rock and had no idea what this movie was about? Way to ruin the experience for the rest of us because of your immaturity!
Last night, when I saw it with g and GretchaSketch, there were these girls behind us who LAUGHED AT EVERYTHING. I mean, sure, parts of the movie are funny, but when Jack puts Ennis' arm around him, and stuff? That's not funny!! They ruined ittt. They shut up when it got intense, but anything that might make you even smile a little or just go "awww" made them CRACK UP.
There aren't many of them, but the moments when they share the stage in Chess... aaahhh.
They should make people pass a maturity test before entering an R-rated movie. My sister and I had our IDs checked 2 times before we went into the theater (she's 17, I'm 20) but these middle-aged women waltzed in, no questions asked, and acted like freakin' schoolgirls. Obviously, my sister isn't the one the MPAA needs to be concerned about.
