I don't think anyone should take what she says onstage too seriously. Everyone jokes around during their concerts about their personal issues. That doesn't mean you assume that's how she always feels. She may have been disappointed at first, but she's a performer and she has the spine to move on. It's just the fans don't seem to get that.

OS, I'm not sure if you saw it on the LJ post, but I posted a link to a site where she clearly states that she was "bitterly disappoitned" over the movie.
I don't want to discuss something that we'd rather not on the thread, but I think it's a safe assumption that she was less than pleased (understandably). And yes, I'm sure she's mature enough to have moved on by now.
ANYway!
Heh, action figure Adam. He looks gorgeous there (I think the pics from that day are my favorite Adam look), but now I can't stop laughing at that pic because of the action figure image.

Heh.
Ugh, sleep. I have so thoroughly destroyed my normal sleep schedule over the past few weeks that I don't know how I'm going to get it back to normal in time for school starting again next week.

That's what happened to me after winter vacation. I went through last week in a haze, reverted to my old sleeping pattern this weekend, barely made it through school today, and took a two-hour nap the moment I got home. Unfortunately, now I'm not as tired as I should be. It's a vicious (heh, Adam) cycle.
That said, I actually will attempt to shut my computer off and get some sleep now. 'Night all!

I think the most attractive that I've seen Adam was in Chess.... so I guess that'd be my favorite look of his. His hair is totally perfect there.
School resumes next week for me, too... there's so much that I need to do before then, including getting back on a normal sleep pattern.
I know she was disappointed, but I think she's joking about it because she knows people want her to mention it. Fans probably dwell on the issue more than she does. Even though she is bitter, she'd probably make a bigger deal about it onstage in front of her fans than she would in her day to day personal life.
Besides, you think the Diva would let her get away with her ansty-ness for too long?
I have to go out to lunch with my grandparents tomorrow. But I'm seeing Brokeback Mountain afterwards, so it's worth it.
Good night, siamese.
I know exactly what you mean about the vicious cycle. If I go to bed late on Sunday night, my sleep pattern for the whole week is pretty much shot to hell - I'll wind up getting more tired each day yet I'll go to bed progressively later because I can't seem to fall asleep earlier than I did the night before. By the time Thursday rolls around, it ain't pretty.

Everyone should read this for a good laugh.
SD, don't be sorry! I definitely wanted to read about the show, but I guess I thought I was going to read these people's posts about THE SHOW, not about their projections of what angry Rentheads insist Daphne was thinking, you know? Not your fault at all! I'm just sick of the same debates being had over and over and over again, but there's not much stopping it.

I'm heading downtown to that awesome second-hand book store in about an hour, on the look-out for The Destiny of Me and maybe some other plays. Any suggestions?
Heh, on New Year's Eve, my friends' mother dropped us off here, and came up to see my apartment. She wanted to see my Rent book, and I was telling her about The Normal Heart, which was on the shelf next to it. She was like, "You should get into theatre! It's clear that it's really your passion. I don't know many kids your age who go out and buy plays to read." I wanted to be like, "I do! I know a bunch of them!"
Happy belated BWW anniversary, skittles!
I was sitting in the locker room, and this new girl was sitting next to me on the bench listenting to her CD player.
Me: What are you listenting to?
Her: Oh, you've probably never heard of him.
Me: Try me.
Her: Adam Pascal?
Me: ZOMG!
And then we had a really long conversation about his awesomeness. It was great. I think I've found a new best friend.

That's awesome, Mandi.
I'm back from the book store with my purchases! I got Michael Cunningham's second novel, Flesh and Blood. I love both of his other ones, so I'm hoping this one is just as good. In the play department, I got Death of a Salesman, and Equus. No Destiny of Me to be found.
