The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part three

"Every time I see those photos, it reminds me how totally uninhibited he is."

I have such a huge respect for people who have the talent to be truly uninhibited on stage. If there's one thing I've learned from my drama classes in high school, it's how truly hard that is. Sigh.

The cool thing about him is that he totally disappears behind a character on stage, and does all of these outlandish things, without fear. And offstage, he's very shy.

Raul's hips are some of my favorite things ever. I think he's so good at dancing that way because he's Latino.

It must be that Cuban influence.

And another influence. Butch men don't dance that way.

Hah!

I'm reading a bit about Daphne's show at Joe's Pub... I wish I could have been there! Only five more months of living in the midwest.

Sorry for the threadjack (I seem to be saying that a lot lately, eek), but I just wanted to ask a quick question before I head to bed. Does anyone have the actual article from Outpatient.com in 1998 with Adam saved? I saw a few photos/blurbs of it on A-P.com and thought it looked interesting. I know it's a longshot!

So, you're threadjacking the Adam thread by actually talking about Adam, and not Raul?

I wish they had all of Raul's performance in that Broadway.com video. I mean, it IS the title song.

I've not been able to find the whole article in ages, but I'll look.

Heh, CS! Well, I always feel bad bringing something up other than the topic at hand, even if Raul has grown on me a lot.

Thanks a lot, Em. I'd really appreciate it. :)

Where are you reading about Daphne's show?

Em -- yeah, those were the quotes I saw and it made me want to read the whole article. I googled for the article and the whole nine yards. I was wondering if perhaps someone here had it saved on her computer. Oh well!

I post as parting_gift on there. Some of Daphne's comments (or, I suppose lack of comments) about Rent tonight are interesting, although nothing we didn't already know/suspect.

Heh at siamese "threadjacking" in the Adam thread by asking a question about Adam.

That article looks interesting from the little snippets that are on the fansites (not to mention that Adam looks damn good in the pictures). I wish there were a way to see the rest of it - I'm quite intrigued as to Adam's thoughts on "the merits of Photoshop 4.0" Raul! (seriously, what a random interview topic)

Edit: siamese, YOU'RE parting_gift on LJ? Heh, I always thought that person was one of the few people in the LJ Adam and Rent communities who really contributed to the discussions in a smart, non-bitchy way. Plus, I gotta say I love your icons Raul!

Meh. I'm so sick of the business about trying to figure out what Daphne thinks. I'm sure she is disappointed about not being able to do it, because it's only natural, but she's a smart cookie. I'm also sure she knows just as well as anybody else that it couldn't have happened. I'm tired of people reading into every word that leaves her mouth about it, or insisting conspiracy against her, or saying that they know she feels betrayed or this or that.

I don't know what I'm saying. I think all of the stale Rent-related debate topics are just really irritating to me at this point. And I'm really, really tired, so goodnight!

Oh, I'm sorry. I honestly wasn't looking to start a debate; I just found it interesting. I also wasn't trying to put words in her mouth, considering she has openly voiced her disappointment. I realize it's old news and it's probably been discussed ad nauseum when I wasn't on the boards -- I apologize for bringing it up.

BG, I was wondering about the Photoshop bit, too! I can't exactly see Adam tinkering around with a computer.

Oh, and CS, to clarify: If you were talking about the person who posted the Daphne information on LJ, that wasn't me. I replied to the post, but I wasn't at the show. :)

Oh! Yeah, no problem. Although I'm sure a lot of people have more than I do, I don't upload anything anymore because of overly cranky people on those communities. Whatever.

Pretty sure I killed the thread!

Look! It's Figurine-esque Adam.

I'm just going to give up now. heh.

I'm here, What You Own came on my iTunes and I got distracted. Ooooo, he looked so pretty that day.
I wondered what happened because you mentioned some crankyness the other day, but its members only so I couldn't see what happened. I don't have a lj, and I didn't want to make one up just to see.
