Ellie, you must see Hedwig now. It's brilliant.

Hi Delph! I want to see it. Easier said than done, though.
*eyes avatar* I did see Melanie Brown in Rent though. Did you like her?
I have to say, I like the off-Broadway recording better than the movie soundtrack.

neither had i, ellie.
am i deprived?
my health teacher last year said that my childhood was deprived cause i don't have a magnetic fridge. its wood-paneled.

Ellie, that's awful! And you're never on AIM either.
Ok, I'm gonna go. I get kicked off of this SH*Tty internet connection every other minute. Goodnight and thank you, my lovelies, and I'm so sorry to miss you all now that you're actually HERE.
Really? I like the movie one. Although I hate the movie soundtrack's song order, I think the sound quality is vastly superior to the cast recording, and that makes all the difference for me in this case.
I don't have a magnetic fridge either, Beka. And I DO feel deprived of my childhood.
Hey Ellie!
Yeah, I saw Mel in RENT. I loved her. I'm, like, one out of three people who actually thought she was good. And I'm not ashamed to say it.
I'm here...at least until I get kicked off by a storm that's coming. It's been raining for six days...

'Night Nia!
Beka, we just recently got a new wood-paneled fridge, replacing my beloved childhood fridge. I hate it - the magnets are on the dishwasher now, but it's not the same...*sniff*
And fine, don't answer my question, Delph...*sniff sniff*

Oh, you DID answer my question, hooray! I thought she was great too, so you can count me amongst those three. I loved her raspy vocals, and she was fantastic at the gymnasticy stuff. Hurrah.
I answered it Ellie, you fool! Look up! I'll even expand on my answer if you ask for more.
edit: There we are...

What? No magnets on the fridge? You poor, deprived children. I had fridge-poetry...Sheesh.
Unless I'm mixing up my recordings, Emcee, I've got to agree with you about the Off-Broadway Cast. It's just got more of something.
Shame about David Searching, though. I guess I'm going to actually have to find money and buy it now.
I'm so glad you liked her! I know a lot of people complained about her voice, but I thought it matched the character perfectly. It was very ethereal, and gave the message that Mimi was sort of half-way gone/dead already. She reminded my vocally of Daphne Rubin-Vega. And her "Without You" was so heartbreaking. It was the highlight of the show for me.

*waits for expanded answer*
And don't call me a fool, you skanky crackho.
Oh, I called you worse but edited it out. And look above. I said more.
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/20/04
Oh wait, you already gave your expanded answer. I keep missing your posts...my bad. Your still a skank, though. Of course, Mel is the only Mimi I've seen, so maybe that's why I like her, but I know a good performance when I see one!
*peruses Dracula playbill*
Ah, memories.
Mel is also the only Mimi I've seen. Oh well. I still think I can judge.
So anyway, Ellie, get your ass out to Blockbuster and rent Hedwig!

I shall, I shall...tomorrow. Or the day after. Maybe next week.
How have you been, Delph? How come you abandoned us for so long? And now you just swan back in as if you own the place...
I tell you, the nerve of some people.
I've been busy lately, Ellie. Testing out new waters. I've tried giving up prostitution, even. Pretty fabulous, huh?
Broadway Legend Joined: 9/20/04
Ah, so prostitution is more of a hobby nowadays, is it? Good, good.
I must be off now, g'night Delph! I'll let you get back to the long line of geriatric gentleman at your door.
Au'revoir!
Toodles! (And they're not geriatric! They're young and rich and hunky! Deal with that! It's certainly much better than you could ever get!)
*bumps from page 2*
How are all of you on this lovely day of the Tony Awards (and the 9 month anniversary of AIDA's closing)??

Oy, Diva.
I'm quite sleepy and in no frame of mind to study, so... I think I'll watch Team America or something. How are you doing?
Good...afternoon.
