That was the problem; we knew was it was, but had a really hard time verbalizing it.

So I told the other intern that once there was an actor who wrote this song. It was a song about crazy fans, and it caused a lot of controversey, to which he responded that it was "tongue-in-cheek." I explained to her that the song was basically showing his amusement with the whole thing, but that it could have been very hurtful, if people were unaware of his personality and the circumstance.

But I don't really know the exact definition - I guess it's something that's told not-so-subtly, but still as a joke or sorts.

So maybe it refers to when you laugh sarcastically at something that could be taken as serious?

Sort of. But I think it's more like... when you tell the thing that could be taken as serious, not your reaction *to* it. I don't think that made any sense?

"Tongue-in-Cheek. This funny-sounding expression indicates that someone just told a joke or isn't being serious"

I took the liberty of looking it up!

I like. I don't use frames or rows, but I've got something similar (albeit less expensive)

It's okay! I use the ever-cost-effective thumbtack! I do finally have ONE frame hanging, though. .

Thumbtacks aren't kind to drywall. I use sticky pad things. And I don't like frames.

I'm not allowed to use the sticky stuff. I use scotch tape sometimes, but it messes up the stuff I hang.

I framed the ShowPeople picture, to keep it safe. It looks nice, methinks! .

i bought the frames in nyc for $5 each (picture included) but originally the frame was white so I painted them with some paint I had lying around, lol. but other than that I use sticky tack and just plain old tacks!

You get points for the DYI, Tune. Tres nifty.

Sticky stuff is good! It doesn't mess up the walls or the poster/flyer/ad/postcard/chocolate bar wrapper.

At home I have big windowcards in frames. I have like five hanging, and have four more that'll go up soon, whenever I get a chance. In my dorm, though, I just have stuff up everywhere. Pamphlets, pictures, stuff from magazines, newspapers, etc. I save everything. heh.

When I have wall space in college, I should make myself a wall like that....

My internship - which I love, other than the waking up early factor. LaDeeDa

I heart my wallspace. It makes for quite the materpiece!

I'm planning on standing up all those frames above my bed in college b/c that's about all I can do to decorate -- there are so many strict rules about pinning things in the wall ... that makes it almost impossible to make my dorm the way I want it

I think I'll worry about my wall after I move into my dorm. XD Global Studies special living, here I come!

Well, as long as you love the internship, it's all good, right? LaDeeDa
