Is it just me and my current state of mind at finding this picture, or does Adam look sortof like a Berenstain Bear???

Was hanging out with star2b this evening, and I met her friend who is also a very big Adam fan - as is her mom, it seems! We had a really, really funny conversation.

Made the love start to grow again.

Aww, that's cool. I love hearing about other Adam fans! However usually when I talk to them, it turns out I'm the crazed fan and they're just the mild fan who's seen him in everything.
My oldest sister(who still doesn't understand my obsession), her good friend, I learned, had seen him in everything including Rent(!), met him, and all she had to say was "i think, he kindof came off as arrogant.." I tried to let her know in a calm way that's his divaness and he's totally nice and genuine to his fans.
Ahh anyway, some people just don't... embrace certain performers as much as others do. Like with Adam's voice, some people LLOOOVVE it, and some people don't. My sisters and mom hate it--this I will never understand though.
Oh well, come November a whole new world of Adamfans will emerge! Muah Ha Ha!!!

It was someone who had gotten to have a long chat with him backstage at Cabaret; they knew someone in the cast. We swapped embarassing Adam stories and talked about the movie. It wasn't like a "who's the better fan?" contest or anything.

Yeah, that's nice. I was just saying it's interesting to see how different people can be about things like that. Different opionions, different stories... Adam is Adam and he affects his fans in all kinds of ways!

heh. We laughed A LOT. It was kind of nice to ease back into it, since I've been ALL about the Cuban lately. I do have to admit, though, that I get awfully giggly and turn very, very red when I tell stories about how badly I've embarassed myself.

Hahaha...sounds like you guys really got into it! Well, it's funny what the shy ones (myself included) will do when it comes to Adam. And yes, now I think "the Cuban" has got to step aside and let Adam back in!

It's so hard to believe the movie is ..actually..made, done...and in such a perfect way. This is so exciting everyday.

Well, I've never really seen it as belonging to either of them -that incarnation of the role is Alan's baby.

Unfortunately, he'd probably never measure up, in many ways. I don't think there are many things Raúl has done recently that Adam could touch - Chitty and The Normal Heart being at the forefront, as well as the Sondheim stuff he's done. I think Adam could've poked at Taboo, though.

If Adam did Taboo, he would just seem like a wannabe Raul, because no one could do Petrified like him. I suppose he could play Marcus, but there's not a lot to do with that.... (guess that means he could act it). Actually. he'd have to kiss a guy if he played Marcus.

Damn you, Rosie, for not casting him.

And his hair is awful right now. Adam, it's a good thing you can sing.
