I am like... a supernerd. Whenever I was into something, I was INTO it.

Other fandoms include a few video games (Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Silent Hill series, Metal Gear Solid series come to mind), Harry Potter, Star Wars, Les Miserables, Animorphs (way back when, oy)... And, of course, Theatre.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but I know it's there.

PS - I sold my Beanie Baby collection years ago to get a computer.

Off-topic, but does anyone else love the band Keane?
I friend introduced me to their CD Hopes and Fears the toher day and it is GREAT!

Lari, you and I would get along. I definitely went through a long Les Miz phase, and a Zelda phase that I never thought would die. Chrono Trigger, too. What a great game.

But the Pokemon obsession beat all. When I was... I don't know... ten or eleven or twelve, my dad always brought home big sheets of cardboard and rolls of paper from work. Being a crazy Pokemon kid, I made what I considered life-sized cut-outs of twenty-five or so Pokemon and had them live in my basement based on the sort of environment in which they would live.

Libby, I never had cutous, but I did organize my cards by type and number. And I had a trick for getting packs with shiny cards. My friends were always so jealous of me for that. It made me a cool fourth grader.

Priest, should I crawl out from under the Broadway Rock to get that CD?

I can't handle this!
I call for a ban of all Coldplay bashing.
They are awesome. Majorly awesome. Super majorly awesome.
End of story.

And they kick the pants off of Civilian. Though that's not very hard to do.

I. Love. Keane. Much more than Coldplay. Gah, now I must go listen to Hopes and Fears. Second track, "This is the Last Time", is my favourite!
