Bye Lari.... Good lock.. Hope you have a dorm to move into..
Hellooooo!
Hi - I see Julia Murney has captivated you. It's wonderful that performers can affect you to that degree. I tend to fall in love for a little bit with whoever stood out in a performance too. Not that I've seen anything for a loooong time.
I've just been wanting to see her in person for so so so very long. And she is everything that I expected.
I'm listening to that Downstage Center interview with Raul - it's made its way onto iTunes. He's just got this ability to make me forget about everything that's stressing me out lately.
Is that the interview in which he talks about TTB? I was never able to hear that, as it was in the wrong format for me, at least on his website. I guess I should set up an iTunes account anyway, as it seems there will be bonus RENT material available there. Not to mention that I haven't done my part by buying SOL yet!
Yeah, that's the one. He cries, and then I cry, and it's just a big mess! It's on a Podcast, so it's free, too!
Hmm, this is where my hidden Luddite tendencies betray me. I don't have an iPod - are Podcasts only available through an iPod?
Nope; they're just a branch of the Music Store on iTunes. You just have to be sure you've downloaded the most recent version, because they're pretty new.
Is that the 45 minute interview?
'tis! There's also a link to it on his website, but it's streaming and not downloadable. I've been trying forever.
Okay, maybe this weekend I'll have a chance to check this all out. The more I hear about this interview the more I want to listen to it. I'm glad it makes you feel better, too.
He could be speaking about the color of broccoli, and I'd listen. His voice is just so... calming.
That's so... silly. But it's true!
That interview increased my desire to see him in Chitty VERY much. I didn't get to finish it, tho. iTunes, you say?
Hi Atrias, missed your earlier posts. Soothing voices are great. I wouldn't say Adam's is soothing, though, more on the stimulating side.
Were there supposed to be clips of music on that interview? I couldn't hear them. Hey, Chloe!
I don't remember anything about music on there, but Emcee will know. Must get back to work! (sigh)
Yes, but in the versions that were/are available online, they were cut out for copyright issues. So, you'll hear them talk about what they're going to play, then you'll hear them talk about having played it, but you won't hear any of the songs.
It got me really into the mood to see the show tonight.
*nods*
*is embarassed*
Aw, don't be. There's nothing wrong with going to see a great performer. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with me, though...because I thought that the kid playing Jeremy was disgustingly adorable. Like Freddy Highmore, but younger and without sticky-out ears.
Wow.
*joins Emcee in embarassment*
awww, he is quite adorable!
Tonight will be 7 times. I love that this is the most times I've ever seen one show - and that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is what I pick for that title. *headdesk*
Well...it could have been Dracula...
This is very true. Good thing I don't love Tom Hewitt!
Aww Em, Atrias is right.. it could have been worse..
