I've been working very hard, but these last couple of days have been a little easier. I'm actually working on one of the RENT film's competitors this fall, though it comes out a little earlier.

Yes, I've been thinking sabotage is the way to go
- but actually, this film is very different and not direct competition in either content or release date. It's funny, though, I have stills from RENT on my computer screen behind what I'm supposed to be working on.

Update from my hotel in Pittsburgh!
First of all, the ethernet in this hotel is crap and it's making me angry.
Second of all, this area is so cute.
Third of all... damnit, I want to move in.
The drive was really smooth. Some rain on the way, but we went through a tunnel and it was sunny on the other end. Good stuff.
Anyway, just dropping in... OH! And my dorm building DOES have that wall. HOORAY!

I love the clips, personally. I don't understand what's so bad about them. I adore what I hear.

Well, on my computer they sound quite distorted, especially OSG, which also sounds somehow speeded up a little to me. My job is editing sound, so maybe I'm hypersensitive to it. I'll listen again on my state-of-the-art sound system at work.
ETA: It also just occurred to me that these files might play differently on different operating systems - some might be more compatible than others.

Still, I think people are judging too fast. You really have to see the film WITH it to have a real sense... And we don't know what's cut, either.

My name's Larissa, but I go by Lari. I also have the tendency to be obnoxiously loud without realizing it.
For example, I am infamously incapable of speaking at a whisper. I've tried before, but people within a 15 foot radius can STILL hear me. It's actually pretty sad.
Hence, LariTheLoud. For I am loud and opinionated. XD
And yeah. I'm receptive to pretty much anything... I wasn't expecting a carbon-copy of the OBCR, because that would be pointless. They want people who DO own the OBCR to be interested in buying this new soundtrack... why make it exactly the same?
