hmm *looks around and nods in approval* i wish to commend the slutdom...though i dont quite know if i am there yet
It seems to be a self-selected thing, so if you're here...
Some of you may remember a link I posted a day or two ago to CB for RichardSF's wonderful description of being an extra on the RENt shoot. He's posted the same thing on another board, but this time there are pictures too.
rent the movie
ooh nice i hadn't seen that so it was refreshing..come to think of it i haven't been very aware of the movie currently....i am just out of the loop
There hasn't been much information since they went back to San Francisco. Did you see Emcee's posts about visiting the set?
I can't sleep, you guys! After years of being an obsessed fangirl, I will finally be in the city to actually see Adam live...only problem is, he's not in any current show and I can't find any upcoming concert gigs!! I'm dying here, I seriously cannot wait to see him...in person!
When will you be in the city? I don't think they finish shooting until some time in June. But there are so many, many other wonderful things to see here, even if you miss Adam this time, it will be well worth it.
*grumble*
Is it July yetttttt? Please?
So I think I wrote a PAGE about Mr. Esparza. I kid you not.
i'll be there in September!
Muppet, that was mean
Crap, I didn't mean it like that. I read it, thought it sounded wrong, so I deleted it.
And please don't call me Muppet!
QM
oh okay, thanks for deleting that, I was about to cry! Not really, but whatever...
Can I call you Queenie?
Ah, you mean when you transfer to Marymount! Well, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Adam is back at least rehearsing for a Broadway show next fall or winter, and doing concerts here too. There will also be a certain amount of publicity appearances for the movie, some of which are bound to be New York based talk shows or morning shows. There'll be lot of opportunities, I'm sure.
ETA: I suggest QM, EiR!

Don't cry.... People tend to misinterpret my posts and get all uptight on me. I didn't mean my post in a bad way and when I re-read it I though 'oh yes, I can see certain people taking it too seriously', hence I deleted it.
EiR, call me whatever you like (just not Muppet). I haven't had Queenie before. That made me laugh.
QM
Sometimes I'm trying to be funny (maybe not a good idea?) and everyone seems to take me seriously also.
I fail at being funny. All the time.
*continues writing about the Raul*
So, can I hand in a page-long love fest? Opinions?!
Chloe, you are trying to be funny sometimes???? Thanks for clarifying. (you see, some people might think I'm being mean now, I think I'm trying to be funny).
Emcee, you muppet.
QM
Hi Adam lovers (and Raul)!
QM: I think I'm the master at trying to be funny and getting people mad, we can run a training session
Emcee: I think you may be able to, I'm trying to figure out a way to turn in my three page love fest to Norbert to my Christologies in Film class, if I can pull that off I think your Raul love will fly!
Ah, smartpenguin, thank you for that. My favorite comedian once explained in an interview how he met his best friend for the first time at a dinner table: 'Within 15 minutes everyone was offended and we were the only ones screaming with laughter'
So misunderstood.... *sniffles*
QM
*is one of those people about whom it is never said "she has a great sense of humor"*
Are you talking about a review of Chitty you're writing for school? I don't know - I'd hate to tell you to curb your very real enthusiasm and censor yourself. That's how critics end up writing boring, uninvolved analytical dissections. Maybe you should signal at the outset that this is a rave for Raul and not a balanced appraisal of the show? You know your teacher and how he will react, of course.
ETA: QM, I knew it needed clarifying, that's why I brought it up. :-P

Emcee, tell them that Queenie said Raul was a fish out of water, desperately trying to survive.
ET: Chloe, from now on, please always add a little * behind your desperate attempts at humour. And I will do the same.
QM
Good stuff QM.
Yes it seems I have scared everyone away.
Oh well, at least I'm still new to BWW.
I was wondering exactly what you were writting too Emcee.
I'm supposed to write a real paper but can't seem to leave BWW.
I'm trying. I feel like he's the only one in the cast that I can speak justly about, because I have background on which to compare him. But because I'm such an enthusiast, it's so difficult. Every time I say something less than perfect, I have this compulsion to turn around and balance it with something lovely because I refuse to make this look like I'm speaking poorly of him. I'm not, at all. It's really hard.
Remind me not to have Queenie review anything I work on.

I bloody hope you forgot your * behind that last comment, Chloe. *
Emcee, it's a Chitty review and not a love letter about his performance in The Normal Heart. Don't mix it up please.
ETA: Well done for that little editing job, Chloe!
QM
I think I want QM to reveiw me, I'm a glutton for punishment.
*feels the wrath of Quennie*
