Yup, that's the one. And I throw flip-flops and sporks. The sporks hurt more.
No, just the definition of "playing."
::points to halo::
'night guys...I'm gonna go fall asleep with *ahem* TO Adam now...
With *ahem* TO Adam now???
*Mind boggles*
QM
oh, are you?!
You'd better keep pointin' at that halo...
Yes, I think my mind will do some boggling now, too.
Sorry? Did you just say something, Amasis? Couldn't quite make it out... Did you have your mouth full or what?
QM
I knew I shouldn't have said anything...
So...Adam... I wonder why he didn't put "Apology" on Civilian. I thought the song was really cool when he played it at the concert. So yea, I'm on my second round of Civilian. It's starting to really grow on me. I love the CD jacket, especially the back cover.
lol... see what they got from a comment about Bush.
*shakes head* at QM and Amasis... naughty, naughty.
Anyway, yes. I really like Apology! oh well...
It's a free world, BroadwayDiva and you should say whatever you like. Even if it results in me throwing Emcee's flip-flops at you.
QM
Mmm.
Okay, about Apology - I like it very much, too. He was already playing it in his gigs in 2001, though. So... it's a rather old song, maybe that's why he decided not to include it, considering the amount of new materials he's written since then?

*takes flip-flops back*
Only I'm allowed to throw those, thank you!

I'm immature, but not enough to be throwing rocks. And Adam love is universal, no matter who you vote for.
What is the story behind the flip-flop thing? I think I missed it.
I wish he had put Apology one... some wanna email him and ask why not?
That's probably why, amasis. He said everything was post 9/11, so if that was pre-9/11, then he wouldn't include it. But it was really a good song. I hope he plays somewhere else (besides the Pub) soon. I love watching him perform.
And QM, I don't mind Emcee's flip flops! They're always welcome to be thrown
lol, insomniak.... I think it was something like this: see, I left all of my nice shoes home by accident when I first moved to the city. A few days before 9/5, I was whining to Undiscovered that I wanted to wear a skirt, but I only had flip-flops to wear with it. I don't know why we decided I'd THROW them though.
And I do think amasis is right.
'I'm immature, but not enough to be throwing rocks.'
Thanks Insomniak... and no comment.

Sorry, QM! I really didn't mean that that way! I was just saying that I wasn't one of those nasty people who hates all non-democrats. And I know you were joking about that.
I see... still wish that Apology was there.
*picks up rock and throws it at Insomniak*
He's been doing Apology for some time now, so obviously likes it quite a bit, I would have liked it to see it on a CD as well.

Maybe next CD? Will that be another four years?
Question: If all this was written right after 9/11, why did it take this long for it to be put out there? Does recording really take that long? I know he started when he left Aida.
It doesn't have to take that long to do a recording, but apparently for whatever reason, it did for Adam this time. There was another song that I'm sad didn't quite make it... But I can't remember what the title was now...

What does that one sound like?
Maybe I will send him an email through sh-k-boom and ask him some of this.
