Have they thought about Daphne? I know she's pregnant and everything, but it would still be feasible for her to do the movie. I really would love to see her back in that role. And Fredi, why hasn't she been considered?

I don't think there's any way Daphne's gonna look young enough. I have heard that she was asked though, and that she turned it down because the schedule wouldn't give her enough time to recover from having her baby.

Ponine-don't you think that if Columbus is good enough to cast the OBC he'll be really careful about who he casts for Mimi?

Elphie-Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Daphne. I just don't think she's right for this. I also think that the Mimi in the screenplay is more vulnerable than Daphne's Mimi.

I don't know! I thought she had dropped off the radar as well, but someone on another thread mentioned that she's doing The Lion King tour??? I had definitely not heard that before today. So I'm not sure.

Hi everyone. Just a quick interjection... one of my attempts at positive thoughts for today: At least Adam will have good materials to write serious songs about, and I hope it won't take until Nov 2, 2008 for him to release his third album. Sigh. *Back to quiet reflection on the state of the world*

Is the RENT script floating around somewhere online? I think I saw a link to it awhile ago, but I didn't read it. Anyone know where it is?

They better get a good Mimi! How about Karmine Alers? Her Mimi rocked (and it still does). I'd love to see Daphne, but it's not going to happen. *flashes back to Kean* Yeah- nothing can top her Mimi.

A while ago you were wondering about Freddi Walker's wherabouts... I think I read somewhere online that she's more into writing her own plays/musicals now. I can't find the site, and you know how EVERYTHING on the internet is true right? So don't quote me on that, just thought I'd at least mention it...
