I wanna work on my screenplay moorreeee...::whines::
But I'm kinda stuck...and I really wanna get to the Christmas Eve chapter of my fic, too...
Just because I'm cruel and like to tease you guys...
The Christmas Eve chapter features a shower scene.
!!!
Emcee likes showers. That is all.
Yes, showers are nice, aren't they?
All hot and steaaaamyyy...
tell me tell me tell me tell meeeeeeeeeeeee!
Okay, I feel like a toddler.
Well...let's see. You know what the Christmas Eve scene in the show is like...I'm sure you can imagine how such a scene would come about.
But you'll just have to wait to read it.
Cuz I'll have to wait to write it.
::cries::
!!!!!!!!!!!
*bounce*
Don't cry!
But...but...
Okay, I'll just have to put a bunch of fluff in the next chapter of Moonlight. Whenever that gets done.
Well, go!
Yes- go! I love reading your fan fiction!
I'm just dropping in quickly cause I have two proposals to finish by end of today... But to return to the discussion a few posts back... has anyone read Karen Armstrong's "A History of God"? I highly recommend it.
That was an interesting discussion, by the way. I've gone through several phases in terms of what my beliefs are, and it wasn't until around the age of 27-28 that I sort of 'settled' on where I stand on organized religion, and God, etc. But, well, these proposals are calling me, so that's all I can write for now .
Here's a blurb from amazon, for those who may be interested:
--
Armstrong, a British journalist and former nun, guides us along one of the most elusive and fascinating quests of all time--the search for God. Like all beloved historians, Armstrong entertains us with deft storytelling, astounding research, and makes us feel a greater appreciation for the present because we better understand our past. Be warned: A History of God is not a tidy linear history. Rather, we learn that the definition of God is constantly being repeated, altered, discarded, and resurrected through the ages, responding to its followers' practical concerns rather than to mystical mandates. Armstrong also shows us how Judaism, Christianity, and Islam have overlapped and influenced one another, gently challenging the secularist history of each of these religions. --Gail Hudson

*perks up*
You know, since bww is going to be quiet, I am off to read an NTG fic, hopefully one that features showers.
amasis, if you get time, would you like to add anything else to our other discussion? That book sounds interesting, but I'm curious as to where you stand on these things, if that's not too foward to ask.
Hey all I said this on another thread already but I'm back from my trip and missed you gals I don't think I'm gonna even attempt to catch up on the tons of pages that have been added while I was gone, but how was your weekend/monday?

Emcee, I just looked at your signature. Where did 'fabulousity' come from? Did he use that word?
Showers? Is the feeling that maybe I *don't* want to read that chapter at all correct?
yes I will have to agree NotThatGirl's fan fics are absolutely wonderful...

Nah not the fact that you happen to be girls...the fact that you are human beings that will give me the time of day, you aren't the annoying joined-choir-to-get-my-art-credit-and-i-think-chorus-boys-are-cute-teehee-maybe-if-I-audition-to-be something-in-the-madrigal-with-kyle-he'll-make-me-look-good even-though-I-can't-sing-to-save-my-life girls that I am constantly subjected to at school...
I promise you mean more to me than 'wow a girl is talking to me'.. I'm not *that* shallow
haha, yes. At Kean, he was saying that he hopes his life doesn't end up all screwed up. He has an old song that he never recorded called "Apology" that was inspired by VH1's "Behind the Music." He was saying that hopefully, after years and years of "unbelievable success, joy and... fabulousity" his life wouldn't be like that.
