Okay so my fingers hurt now. But Adam sounds very lovely. And I know 3 chords now...hehe...it's so painful having to learn everything from scratch after finally realizing that I'm actually really good on piano.

Ah, well. I suppose everything has a learning curve.

Nah, if you practice, I'm sure you'll get it down sooner than that! I still am pretty pathetic (after a year), but I don't practice enough. And if you're pretty musical, I'm sure that will help (although reading music isn't really the challenge in my opinion, it's more getting the fingerings down and switching chords quickly).

Yeah I keep hitting more than one string at once...but I've only played the thing for a total of maybe an hour.

It's technically my third instrument, so hopefully that'll help.

If you practice a lot, two or three months, if not just a few weeks. The hard work definitely pays off.

hehe, Diva, at first I thought you meant that if you practice a lot it will take 2 or 3 months and if you DON'T practice a lot, it will take a few weeks. I wish that were true!

lol. If only that worked. I've tried it with studying, though, (sleeping with a book), which didn't have much effect, so I'm guessing sleeping with your guitar won't do much.

NTG - my nephew taught himself and was playing decently in a matter of weeks. He was obsessed, though. And he's very musical. But sounds like you are, too .

Yes, it seems like you'll get it pretty quickly, NTG. And sleeping with Adam sounds pretty nice, even it won't help you learn how to play the guitar and will prevent you from getting much sleep.

Congrats, Elphie .

As for Chloe's post earlier, about what would happen if RENT became huge, I think if Adam had the choice to concentrate more on his music he might take it, since it does seem like it's still his main passion. I'm not saying that he'll leave Broadway behind completely and will turn down an offer if an extremely juicy role comes along. But those kinds of roles don't appear too often, and and you know he probably wouldn't have even considered the role of Fiyero if it wasn't a matter of needing a job .

Hey Guys.. I had the BEST afternoon.. I dont have much time since I have another show in an hour. All I can say is that this cast is F*CKING AMAZING!! And they recognized me.. I will tell you all about it later.. BUt just wanted to say I miss being here.. I will be back later
