Eh, alright. Kind of bummed out for a few reasons, and I feel like I'm getting sick because my alleriges are so bad, but classes are going really, really well... so big yay.
Hey! I just remembered with help from the threads that it is Larson't aniversary. Tear. However i personally hope to remeber him in posative thoughts! Have a good night.
And his birthday is next Friday, so there shall be another moment of silence then.
He's amazing.
Indeed.. I wish I could be seeing the show tonight
I was tempted, but I'm already seeing two shows this week.

I just watched that video from broadway.com of Adam performing at Joe's Pub. Tomorrow, I need to drag myself through the snow, down to the music store and have them order me that CD. NEED IT. That's the plan. Finally!
Good plan!
Remember that link to Cafe Press with random Civilian stuff? I'm a geek, so I got a pin, and it came in the mail today!

Yay!
Hmmm, I don't have a credit card, so I can't order from the Sh-K-Boom site, but I can use an HMV Gift card on their website. My friend told me it would be cheaper than ordring it into the store. If I get them both, I can get free shipping... sounds like a deal. What do you think?
DO IT!!!

I think I will. Music is making me poor this year! "Uhm, I don't know where the money went, Mom. Well, I did go away for the weekend... we ate out a lot." Hahaha, good thing she trusts me. And I'm not doing anything illegal!
YAY! I will soon be the proud owner of both Model Prisoner and Civilian! SO EXCITED!
wheeee!

Just don't tell my mom, okay em? Promise?
Scout's honor!
Allie, I envy anyone who will be listening to one of Adam's CD's for the first time. Enjoy!
Random information, which may or may not be accurate:
"Pascal - French and English: from the personal name Pascal, Latin Paschalis, a derivative of pascha ‘Easter’, via Greek and Aramaic from Hebrew pesach ‘Passover’."
I love the Passover reference. *is proud of Jewish heritage*
Apparently Pascal was originally a French name, but some of them went to England with William the Conqueror, so Pascals in America are from both places. I did find mention of some Jewish Pascals from Eastern Europe too though. Easter and Passover have a close connection, as the Last Supper was probably a Passover meal.
Remember when I mentioned having all sorts of random, useless information floating around in my head?
I love random information. Really.
And yeah, that mathematician Pascal was French.
More videos have gone up at Broadway.com, including one on Model Prisoner, one on Anthony Rapp's album Look Around, and a backstage tour of Cabaret. (There are probably other new ones also, but these caught my eye.)
Why, oh why in the MP one did they start off with Adam singing flat on Rhyme and Reason? They could have had him do it again - and he sounds fine when finishing the song at the end. In between is an interview in which he's sounding a little down perhaps, talking about trying to get his music out there. However he looks absolutely - I mean, absolutely - gorgeous.
The Anthony Rapp video is okay - the sound is a little screwed up. But the Cabaret one is really interesting. You'll love this, Emcee.
I saw the Cabaret one, and squealed with glee. Literally. Can you post a link to the Model Prisoner one?
Of course. I love behind-the-scenes stuff. The backstage area certainly looked cramped, it's a wonder people weren't constantly banging into each other.
Model Prisoner video
Adam had some sort of clutter-induced backstage accident during Cabaret...
*watches video!*
Is that why I see a bandage on his knee?
Yes, it is. He fell backstage during the night show the Saturday before closing, and was out for most of that show. They debated keeping him out for the closing matinee, too. I was PETRIFIED when I got up that morning.
Anyway, video.
Holy mother of - WOW. He looks unbelievably beautiful. He SOUNDS unbelievably beautiful for the most part, even though my sound/picture were a bit out of synch. I feel like this is the interview that I heard about that was done in his apartment. *mind boggles*
Oh, and I love the Glory crack. Someone's changed...
Right! Well, he never plays it safe, he puts it all out there, some to be regretted later maybe. That goes for his singing too. I feel like he'd rather crack on a note than play it safe. But thank god he seldom if ever showboats - you know, singing a half dozen extra notes on every other syllable. That's one of the worst traits of a lot of singers now.
And yes, he looks so, so good in that. Loved the little twist he put on "the Rent years" too.
The honesty is absolutely adorable, and so admirable. <3333333
That's all. Nothing profound.
