WOW....that is definitely my favorite footage of him. And Rhyme and Reason is my favorite song! I like the NYC apartment setting with Adam just playin his song on his guitar..but it probably got annoying with horns blaring while they were taping that. OMG the wink!! I really miss his short hair like that, and that color. And what bandage on his knee? I thought Adam was in the Cabaret video, darnet.
No, that Cabaret video is OLD. Actually, though, Vance who's playing the Emcee in that tape understudied Adam.
At the final matinee of Cabaret, there was a bandage on Adam's knee because he fell backstage the night before. He hurt his knee and couldn't finish that performance.
OOhhh...poor Adam, always getting hurt--or poor Idina and Adam, getting hurt on final performances. I could never imagine getting back up in that Aida tomb after the chicago tour accident. I literally cannot stop watching this video. He is absolutely GORGEOUS. His voice sounds a little bit different. Yeah, I love the "rent years" and the Glory joke, but did he not realize the reason we're screaming "sing glory" is because we only want HIM to sing it, not manley pope? But, I totally understand him on singing that at a club when you're trying to cross over. Adam should turn Glory into one of his modern classic rock songs, then he'd sing it...wait nah, it'd still be glory at a club. We'll it sounded great all the times he did! omg it's 2:30 in the morning and i'm going into rambling mode. ..urrm, is that a glass of o.j. on his desk???...(not stalkerish at all)
"I could never imagine getting back up in that Aida tomb after the chicago tour accident."
I believe he never did have to go back in it, or at least not to the suspended one. Immediately after the accident, they changed the design to what it was on Broadway: where the tomb rested on a 3ft-platform onstage.

I forgot about that video! It was nice to go back and watch it again! What a sweetie!

Well, yeah. That's probably the main reason they changed the design. I don't think the Broadway one was suspended at all, come to think of it. It was on a platform, and I think there may have been a step or two they had to climb up to get into it. *cries*
And what is this orange juice you speak of? *innocent look*
And, thinking about Glory - I guess once he realized that he had, to his fans at least, somewhat successfully crossed over, and that people weren't just fans of his theatre work, he could do us a little favour and sing Glory. I guess now that he knows he's got fans of *his* music, too, he doesn't feel like he has to make such a huge statement about the switch anymore.
Morning everyone..
Oooo Adam videos.. I will have to check those out tonight.. (can't at work)
how is everyone thus far?

Oo, Adam videos! I'm watching the Model Prisoner one. Something about the way he just said the word "Nederlander" is so... special. No idea why. AH! He winked! *swoon*
I'm ordering both CD's today!
**is in a super pissy mood**
**stomps off and puts on iPod, so she can listen to OSG**
Guys you ever been so furious you could kill someone?
YAY ALLIE!
I'm doing just fine since the slushy roads brought no school and I got much more sleep!
I knew the tomb was suspended in Chicago and on a platform on Broadway, but still, I could never imagine getting in there again!lol..recount of Adam's injuries due to Broadway--back, knee, what else--oh, probably some from us at the stage door :-p
If you're as obsessed as me and look at little details since you've watched Adam 3 thousand times already, you can see a glass of either orange juice or milk on the desk, then behind him on his right a gallon of o.j. or milk, a tissue box, that cool guitar hanging on the wall, oh and during the interview a cozy blanket under his back!! ...I need to go watch something else...
*runs off to watch video one more time*
I noticed the orange juice, too! I was like "WTF is that?" then realized what it was.
The video only loads to 97%, so I couldn't watch the last few seconds of the video!! *grumbles* But the rest was amazing.
**has to wait until after work to watch**
Cam, keep repeating Adam or something but just-dont! kill! anyone!!
My sound and picture are still out of synch, which makes it kind of weird. Where's the wink?
Oh, and the orange juice... how fitting. God, I need to get my mind out of the gutter, I do believe. I love the guitar hanging on the wall - the mark of a true musician.
His speaking voice is the prettiest thing ever. Ever.

I just kept going back to hear "Nederlander". I love it! And the wink is at the very end of the video, after he finishes the song.
haha, I can't believe he winks. I'll have to take a look at this after class.
*giggles*
What a dork.
"Nederlander" is when he whines about how everyone should go see Manley sing Glory, right? I think there was some hand-waving in there, too. *shakes head*

Haha, the wink made my day!

Wonderful news... I went to the music store to get a gift card so I could order Adam's CD's (no credit card). Now I'm sitting here, reading the Terms and Conditions on the website. Turns out i can't use it like a credit card. Grrrrr. That b*tch who told me I could is going to pay, grrrrr. So, now I'm here with $60 on a gift card, and no way to order my CD's!!!
WTF?!?!?! you can't use the gift card to order online? thats dumb..
go back to the store and make them order it for you!
You can SO use gift cards online. Put what you want in the shopping cart and click to checkout. You'll see what to do. It's basically a universal procedure.

WTF is right! I checked at the store. They didn't have, so I asked at the checkout. She typed in his name, and said he has one CD available, Civilian, and they have one copy coming in to the store (ONE. WHAT?) They don't even have a listing for Model Prisoner. I'm going to keep trying with the card online.
you'd better reserve that one at the store!
