Small OT reminder - this is on another thread already, but for those of you with HBO, tonight is the first showing of Lackawanna Blues, an adaptation of a one character autobiographical show by Ruben Santiago-Hudson done at the Public Theater a few years ago. It has a big assortment of terrific actors, including Jeffrey Wright.

Too bad - but his part is small, according to what I read. There are a whole lot of small parts taken by some really good actors, like Liev Schreiber and Charlayne Woodard.

Hey Chrissy! I'll be curious to see if he's there just to promote his TV show or has things to say about the movie too. I've seen his show a couple of times and it's not bad. He's certainly got a lot of charm.

Hey! Yeah, I haven't seen his show and never was really aware of his being the other hottie from Rent. I had always just heard his voice on the obcr, and I guess his character made me not like him lol. His marriage with Idina is beautiful. It's weird how certain cast members from Rent went on to tv and some went on to their own music. I had always seen Jesse L. Martin on tv, but never realized that was him!

lol, it took me a while to make the Jesse L. connection, too Chrissy. I think Taye has a really nice voice - I wish there was more of an opportunity for him to sing in RENT, but Benny doesn't sing all that much.
