hahaha, I was trying (and having a hard time) buying tickets to see him in concert. It was very short. 
No matter what, Just Here is still really catchy. And it's a neat little metaphor.

I can't believe how many dreams I'd had of meeting Adam before I did.
Yeah, Ringing in My Ear is cool. It goes in and out of soft to hard playing. And of course the whispering at the end!

Funny story, re: the spider.
I had a role of film from Cabaret and some other stuff with me at school, and I was showing them to some people before class started. Just read the "Overrated" thread...remind me to just stay here all safe and warm next time? It truly disturbs me to read something where Adam is bashed even a little...they just don't understand the whole thing about him if they don't love him.

I guess it is pretty useless to try and say anything when they haven't come to know and love him like we have.
And I agree about the part of Idina's overration being for her belt. She is very powerful. I'm just a fan of her voice from Rent and what I've seen/heard from Wicked, but I know if I had seen her in Wicked, I surely would've become an Idinahead. But does she really nOt deserve all the attention? She's gorgeous and extremely talented! I'm just glad to finally like someone whom people know of!

i think that idina DEFINITELY deserves the attention. She works her butt off to put as much heart and soul in that tiny boday of hers into every performance. Her voice is amazing and so is her acting. She deserves every bit of recognition, and every bit of that TONY.

There are a lot of non-believers, and there's no way you can change their minds. Unfortunately it's because their dislike is so deeply set. A lot of it, I think, is rooted in jealousy; Adam worked his ass off to get where he is, but he didn't have to go through the traditional ranks of "making it" in the musical theatre sense. He wasn't doomed to life as a chorus boy, just like every other chorus boy wanting a lead role for years and years and years. His three roles in theatre have been big leading roles.
I love Idina, but the rabid following she's developed is ridiculous. Candlelight vigils? Give me a break; she's still alive!

There were threads about her shoe size, bra size, conditioner, tooth paste... basically everything.
The tributes are WAY over the top. Idina's amazing, and I'm a huge fan, but the "Menzelists" and the candles and stuff is crazy.
