Hello again.
Wheeee, Rent movie talk! Those pictures from CB are nice, even if they are a bit blurry. When I saw the chairs, my first thought was oh my gosh, they have chairs. And then oh my gosh, I actually sort of know someone that sat in one of them. So that was kinda cool...
I think that if anyone could successfully bring Rent to the movie screen, it would probably have to be the original cast, the people that have the most attachment to the show, so to speak. So I agree with Emcee- the actors know what they're doing, so I doubt they'd have a huge role if the movie didn't turn out well. (Which it better not. Turn out bad, that is)

Exactly. It's such a strange thing to have be the concrete confirmation, but like I posted, Adam's name on that chair was it for me.

ya know, the more pictures i see, the more i kind of like his new hair too. those pictures from the drs party were HORRID, but Emcee said it looks ok in person, and now that i see more pictures, it's not that bad... he should still have the short hair like in '96 though.

Nia, I bounced a bit with QM's news last night!

I have absolutely no patience when it comes to things like waiting for a movie to be done and out in the theatre, so this is all really killing me. I want it done and I want it done yesterday. I'm looking forward to the whole talk circuit marketing of the movie!

okay so i was listening to rent today and i was really listening especially to adam, and in GLORY you can really hear the emotion in his voice and you can feel roger's pain when adam sings it. its just so beautiful and it really makes you feel for roger.

i miss adams short hair.

Hi Elle. I think his performance of Glory on the OBCR is pretty remarkable. I'll be very curious to hear what he does with it for the movie, of course.

Many of you have probably already seen it, but now on both the threads saying something about Rent set images, there's a link to four pages of Adam shots. The first page or two are all from the Rent set, then there's a few not-so-good DRS ones, then some great Joe's Pub and Tower Records pics. Be sure to take a look.
