Hi - you got the chair up, Emcee!
Another thought about the pawn shop location in SF (duh):
"First shot Roger with the Fender guitar he just got out of hock"
oh my gosh. they have chairs

That could be it, Chloe, if they show him selling or buying his guitar back.
Anyone still around?

Hi everyone! I just survived six hours of Purim carnival-ness... and now I have to do homework. But oh, how I love the fine art of procrastination...
I guess it's back to online tag, and I'm it.
Ballerina, procrastination is my life.
Yeah, we just closed Dolly, so now it's back to reality. Ugh.
Hey NTG! It seems like you were gone quite a while. I guess the show really took over for a while? How did it go?
*waves* Did I miss anything? I'm back at school, and stiiiil sick.
That's true, Chloe. Hopefully that's it, I just never assumed they'd take the time to actually *show* him going to get the guitar back or selling it in the first place.
*waves back* Hi Emcee, sorry you're still sick. What a drag.
Showing the guitar-hocking (or un-hocking) is the kind of thing that can be shown very efficiently on film, but is easier to tell about on stage. Not to say whether they're going to show that particular part of the story or not, but I'm sure that's what's behind previously off-stage characters like April and Allison being in the movie.

Hi Nia! I kind of doubt that un-hocking is an actual word, but it has a ring to it...
I condone making up words.

Ha, it's fine. Chloe, I do it too. You can make anything an adjective by adding 'ish' or 'ness' to it.
Yep, I'm guilty of that.
You're right, your Nianess. And what an Emceeish comment!
By the way, Rosario Dawson is going to be on the Leno show a week from tomorrow (Monday). She's promoting Sin City now, so whether or not she talks about Rent is chancy, but now I'm getting more curious about her.

Your Nianess. I like that. Sorta similar to 'your highness', but better.
Will there be anything about Rosario's interview online?
She was on Regis and Kelly to talk about Sin City, but they did talk a little about RENT, so yay!
Actually, that was kind of lame, but I'm lightheaded from not having to work today, and actually catching up on some sleep.
I don't know about anything online. I'm not that familiar with Leno's site.
::runs off to check it out::
Well, it looks like the Tonight show site mostly has video of Jay's comedy bits and some musical performances, rather than actual interviews. However, I'm sure someone will give a full report.
What did she say on Regis and Kelly? I seem to recall reading something about it, but it's hazy.

Hm. Well, I hope to hear about it.
Does anyone know where QM is? I miss that old muppet.
I was wondering that today, too. I think she said she was going somewhere?
I didn't see R&K, but apparently not much. Regis asked if she could pull it off, etc. She seems confident, but kind of bothered by the lack of faith people obviously have.
QM is quite an amazing person.
I saw that thread about people worrying about the Rent movie. I certainly hope it's succesful enough to create a whole new group of fans, however misguided they may turn out to be.
Actually, I was surprised to learn that Chicago and Phantom had so much impact on high school kids.
I really wish Phantom had been more successful; it was so beautiful.
I kind of wonder if RENT will do the same thing. Be very successful amongst its already established fans and mildly successful in general. Can we help guide the misguided?

Wow...Emcee your icon exites me. Just thought I'd drop in to mention that. Makes it real, doesn't it?
