Hello Adamites! Wow, looks like things are moving along over here [I can see that there are NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE pages, but I can’t respond to any of them (how annoying is that?!) because I can’t log in].

Anyway, I read Em’s dream which was very interesting, and I just had to tell that I had a dream too! However, this was Aida, and we all have those Aida flashbacks *sniff* but this was so real and…right now. I was in like the first or second rows with my whole family there and was very confused because they’d never all come let alone let me see it a third time. Adam had his current hair!! He was carrying(?!) Aida away after the slaves were captured. He looked all slow motion and his hair was blowing…it was mysterious, and kind of movie-like. So all of the sudden my right eye opens and I see my pillow. I tried to get back into the dream but I couldn’t.

So since I woke up this morning, Aida has been blasting, and I’ve been once again realizing how beautiful it all is. Ok, I’ll stop now…*offers tissues*

I love that he does in that video, but I'm not sure. It's so adorable. I'm still uber-mad that I didn't get to go to that. I was definitely even in the area that day.

They had similar problems to what I had with the night shoots and the blurriness, but some of them are gorgeous. I think I need to dedicate a moment to how good Adam looks in red, and another moment to the mixing of Adam, leather and eyeliner. I can't get over how great all of them look... at all.

It's funny to have experienced it, and now to be living vicariously through others. Every time I see new pictures or read new stuff, I get so much more excited. I was talking to a friend this morning about how we think the movie might be a better vehicle for understanding the characters, in a way, than the show is on stage, simply becuase you can show so much more. I mean, take the huge difference in the way they're making Roger look for the flashbacks. I think it's finally beginning to sink in how much more we're going to see, and I'm loving it. I was looking at those pictures of "flashback Adam" and Glory came on my iTunes playlist. Right then, I realized that I always knew why Roger was sad and why his life was such a mess, but I never really grasped it, because I had no idea just how much things had changed for him. I saw that picture, a picture of the actress playing April and a picture of the monitor showing him singing in the club, and I was listening to the lyrics in Glory, and it suddenly meant so much more. Now I actually have a visual image in my head of what Roger's life was like before anything you see in RENT on stage. It broke my heart. I don't think I want to consider how this movie is going to toy with my emotions.
