Thanks Barb. Just the fact that today is a cam day makes it better.
Grrr...I'll only be here for the first couple hours of the matine cam. And then off to band camp again.
I had a DRS dream last night...I dont' really remember it, but I know in the dream I went to see it with a bunch of my non-broadway friends, and I was teaching them "Love is my Legs" on the way to New York, and when we saw it they all started singing that song during one of Greg's songs and I kept screaming "no!! No wrong song!! This is Greg's part, this isn't right!" And I got really upset.
There was also something involving puppets....I don't know.
Interrupting Greg. That's just evil. Well, I'm off to the post office to pick up some large envelope mailers.

Wow! I’m gone for three days and we get a new thread! Unbelievable! Hope everyone’s been doing well, though. Been working here and am looking forward to the weekend for some R&R. Also, has anyone else seen “The Notebook?” I saw it last night and it was awesome!
Looking forward to the cam today.

Speaking of movies... I watched Million Dollar Baby and was severely disappointed!
I'm concerned with the lack of people! The cam is starting soon..

I liked that movie.
It was just really hyped and it let me down. But then again, I have no interest in boxing whatsoever, so the first hour and a half was pretty uninteresting. And then the last half hour was so damn depressing... gah.
Kerrie~are you serious? what didn't you like about Million Dollar Baby? I cried at the end, specially when he whispered what the phrase meant.
Barb~thanks for aswering my question. I guess i can see how Greg would be the expert at romancing Julie. But i thought it would an awesome gag one. And I can get it online for like $4.45 and i have a gift card. So it all works out. Will get it soon.
Traci~sorry about your morning.
Shootin~The movie is good, but the musical is better. Norbert does a totally better Freddy. Steve Martin is pretty good at Ruprecht though. And John is som much better than Caine; more (I can't think of the word, but more trying to promote himself. i know there is a word for that but can't think of it.) But if you haven't seen the musical, don't watch the movie cause it's the same ending but the musical is better.
and I think I'm going to miss the cam since I have rehearsal at 2. have fun guys!
Hey everyone, just stopping in between classes (ugh!) Hope everything is going well for you this fine August 24th!
See above post for my response. lol I'm not saying it was bad by any means. But best picture of the year? Come on, now.. (I'm a crazy harsh movie critic lol)

i'm not too hyped about boxing. but i do love women in strong roles like that. i didn't know anything about it when i rented it, and the end was sooo sad. and i've recently watched Mystic River for the 1st time. it was great! Sean Penn was so fantastic. everytime he cried it killed me!

well I know a lot of viewers are now in classes and all, but there are some people who watch the cam who don't post here. :) (Believe it or not!) Anyway, fwiw, I'm here!
Yaay Barb is here!
Mystic River was really good. Sean Penn blows me away.
And Hilary Swank DID deserve her oscar, she was amazing.

Tim Robbins disappointed me in Mystic, but I think he just got over shadowed by Sean's kick a** performance.
The thing about Mystic River is..I can probably never watch it again. Same thing with Monster. Both amazing movies, but once is enough. Some of what happened was too upsetting to watch again.
Mystic River=One of my favorite movies

i like thrive on really emotional movies. whether it be with strong characters struggling through crisis or a tragic incident. i don't know, i enjoy being able to experience someone else's life. i probably sound crazy now, it's hard to explain.
Hilary Swank definately deserved it. ANd i can see how boxing isn't that interesting. oh well, got to go. didn't see greg yet. but I have to go. see ya!
Please say hi to greg for me!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm usually the same way, Sarah, but there are a few movies that upset me too much to watch again. Hotel Rwanda being number one on that list.
Hello and Goodbye Dre. Will say hi to him for you.

i've been meaning to see that one. i'd probably give the #1 saddest movie award to I Dreamed of Africa.
Woooo I'm here!! Million Dollar Baby was amazing Kerrie!! I won't be here for long, just at the library, got 4 OCRs and I'm on my way out. Will stay as long as I can, but I'm getting a manicure.
