Ahh, Colin Firth! My college friends are obsessed w/ Pride and Prejudice and got me really into him. Awesome Annie!
Traci, yeah I don't know how to explain it. The reason I was able to talk is b/c of great things I've heard, but still kinda shaky. And I have talked to him briefly before, took a pic w/ him in Mark costume at the Rent set and told him how much we love him posting here, and at Bryant park told him we miss him posting here. Also PMed him to tell him about how I randomly found the Moondance diner and went in and cried and he appreciated that story. I think also that he posts here helps, and my friend knows him pretty well. But yeah, I mean, okay this means so much and I know it seems weird..at one point I started getting a little shy, smiling and nodding and that part he was just like so how are you? I dunno, that's just soo sweet to notice I was getting shy and make me feel personable...I dunno I love him.
Yeah, I feel weird posting this b/c he reads the board but maybe he doesn't read this thread(if you do Anthony, it was soo great talking to you last night, hope I didn't hold you up, and hope you don't mind me sharing briefly what was said!) I mentioned the Sunday performance and he said how weird it is that Feeling Electric is already soldout so the performance didn't need to do much, lol. We talked about the Rent rating, how he was surpised, but figured they were lenient like we all said b/c the curses are not in a sexual context and such. He actually said revolution was planning to lob for a PG15 rating(explained to me how Indiana Jones brought about the first PG13 rating) which I found interesting but now obviously didn't need to be done b/c of the PG13. And I mentioned the blog, he hadn't seen it yet, and said especially during some of the shooting during the riot, he had some down time, so hopefully we can look forward to a couple other videos, one he shot in the loft that he hopes gets put up. Said he's seen clips and stuff from the movie and it looks great from what he's seen.
Actually debated posting this on the main board, but I dunno, seemed kinda like our convo, and I mean he does read this, so it feels weird to announce to everyone, so since this is my hangout thread, figured I'd randomly mention it here. But yeah, he was waiting to check e-mail and go in for a soundcheck and I wouldn't stop talking b/c that's what I do but still to take the time to explain the PG15 and Indiana Jones to me....god, I love him.
I also think Greg has given me more confidence to talk to other actors, especially those I hear are so nice. It's still different and I was still shyer, like I said I think b/c I knew Anthony as a performer for so long, but still...great night.
And yeah, I def love Jesse Tyler Ferguson as well.
