"Floss, kiddies, and you too may one day be on Broadway!"
hey! i've BEEN flossing! yaay! there is HOPE! lol
morning everybody! (my goodness...it's 6:20! is anybody awake?)
YAAAAAWN. Mornin' all. Today is easy. Class from 9:05-10:55, and then a huge break until my class at 3:35-5:25.. and then meeting wrq! Woo!
I'm excited too!
Three classes, eh, but then a little rest before I drive down. And I shouldn't complain about being up early, poor Jamie always seems to be up at 6:20.
Poor me too. I was awake at 6:00. lol
In comouter lab studying for an exam (among other things).
Have fun tonight guys!
:::::yawn::::: morning all. ok so it's not that early.... 9:15.... yeah. cam was good yesterday. i had a thought last nite... since you guys want to rewrite the "shirtless" version of DRS... why don't we just use Yazbek's other show.... The Full Monty and cast the DRS guys as the 6 guys? yeah i know that was random and i am not awake yet. ok yeah gonna go wake up and work my way up to the theatre building for class in like a half hour. later all.
sounds good meg! we only have 4 guys though. John, Greg, Norb, and Andrew. And Joe. so we have 5. Full Monty. hmmm. Still like shirtlss DRS though.
Woooo just had production crew. Lots of moving wood and climbing ladders and dumping pieces of glass on my foot...
No class until 3:35! woo!
Aw Kerrie, is your foot ok?
lol, yeah it's fine. It was funny. At the beginning of class, he was telling us not to wear sandals. (Staring right at me, lol) So me and 2 other girls were in charge of cleaning up this back room and there was broken glass EVERYWHERE, so we swept it up and I had the dustpan. I was pouring it into a bucket, and the handle of the dustpan broke off, and the pan fell over and spilled the glass all over my foot. The teacher was like "So... that's a good reason to wear sneakers.." lmao
Ouch. They need to get better equipment for the students. lol
But I guess sneakers will be worn from now on right.
It didn't hurt or anything. But yes, sneakers from now on. lol
At least it doesn't hurt, or that could pose a problem. Especially if like Amanda you were taking Ballroom Dancing. (it is Amanda right?)

I get to give blood today! right downstairs in my dorm! i'm so excited.
for some reason, i give blood religioiusly every 3 months. i just feel like its a good thing to do. AND my sorority is helping to run it, so i get to hang out with all of them too fun stuff.
and i still have theatre costuming today...did i tell you guys..last time we had to choose headshots for the 5 main characters...and my teacher told me i was wrong on all of them. so i was like fine..and shes making me do the assignment over again....and so little does she know, i have now cast Greg, Norb, Sherie, Andrew, and Joe as my cast. thats right. i went there
My new love:
SO GOOD.
hehe yeah Traci it's Amanda. Yeah, that would suck if my feet were out for ballroom dancing. Funny story from that class last night. I do indeed have a male partner(yaay!), though rather tall compared to me, and first we were waltzing and we chatted a lot and laughed about singing along to songs and I said ehh as long as it's not a broadway song, you're okay. Of course, then when we foxtrotted, we did so to "One"! And the song just kept repeating..oopsy. I even started adding in the movie harmony, didn't effect my dancing too much and I enjoyed it. Though he thought I was singing "walk"..I was like "she's the walk??" LOL. I like tango so far.
cool/. glad everyone is having fun. I might do construction for our play (spinning into butter) but freshman play auditions are next week (only freshman can audition. yay!)
going to be on the radio tonight with broadway songs. fun stuff.
uhhh....I want to give blood so badly but I can;t and it sucks.
I have acting at 3. fun!
if anyonw wants to listen to the radio, you can hear it on the website:
http://www.wdcvfm.com
I'll be on around 10, maybe later. but tune iin at 10 and jsut leave it on and work. It will be cool.
one of the songs will be from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. But not saying which one. Don't tell them Meg! You'll just have to listen!
and some other cool songs.
Hey all! Just got home from school! Time to watch the slideshow!
Mmmm...stupid. School. I haven't been on the thread all week and couldn't watch the cam yesterday thanks to a stupid AP Euro test that I probably failed anyway. I was trying to think of nuemonic devices, and since we're talking about secularism in the Italian renaissance as opposed to the religious North, I really just wanted to run around singing:
The North was almost too religious, to discuuuussss
....I've had too much AP on the brain. Last night I had a dream that all the love threaders met Greg and he invited us all over to his house. And then I was just haning out and eating dinner with him and talking for the rest of my dream. I think my lack of thread/cam is getting to me.
Jamie-this is kind of random, but I know you said your band was going to be competing with schools from PA this year. I know thats a pretty broad area, but apparently our school is going to be doing a USSB competition...(I'm from PA) and I thought...that would be totally amazing if we ended up at the same competition. I seriously doubt it though, since our band doesn't do many competitions.
Hopefully I'll be there for the Saturday cam, but I don't know. My friends and I have alphabetical movie parties, *we host different letters and only watch movies starting with that letter*, and Saturday is 'J' night.
I should have hosted 'G' and made everyone watch GregCam. They would have attacked me.

Hey all! This was my best day ever.
I was "listening" to musicals in the morning, then I went to my English class and I had to interview one of my classmate about his life and than told it to everyone (of course I got Greg). I love this name so much, that I mentioned it in every sentence:
So, Greg, how are you/what did you say Greg your name was? It was so FREAKIN' good! Sure, the teacher had no idea what was so funny but she said that my English is incredible and she asked me about "what was my motivation of learning this language now in an advanced level".
I just said "Broadway", (what else?)
I mentioned you all too because I could practise with you every day and I told her that you all helped me if it was needed.
And now I got a wonderful message from Kerrie, and I will have another job interview on Wednesday, so this is a beautiful day.
Ah, okay I am cool now.
Barb, I love the slideshow

thanks. or maybe "break a leg", right? lol
Congrats on having another interview Annie. Good luck.
yay! Dre AND Ali-you BOTH thought of JOE!! (I'm so happy!) haha
but, yeah. i would LOVE it if those 5 guys were in full monty! and STEPHEN campanella could be the 6th guy! (he's my other favorite male ensemble member! lol) OR tom! cuz he's cool too!
dre, i'm listening to ur radio station right now. the guy who's dj-ing right now is taking way too many breaths in the middle of setences. but he IS funny! i hope that my internet wont suck, and i'll be able to hear you!
cat-i just watched the trailers u posted up last night! EVERY SINGLE LINE from the DRS movie shown in that trailer is used word for word in the musical! it's cool! AND...wow. sherie sounds EXACTLLY like the movie christine! it's pretty creepy, lol.
annie-i'm glad that ur english teacher said that! but, really, u have PERFECT english, imo. u write as if you were a native!
"u write as if you were a native!"
haha sadly thats not much of a compliment, I've seen some of us "natives" butcher the language pretty horrifically ...especially on BWW *cough* BGW
