Teehee. Heehee.
Well, see as I was still typing, Kerrie and I were about to leave for dinner, and her keyboard kinda sucks, I kept pressing page up instead of shift...what I meant to say was what I did w/ Joe Cassidy, just you know say I have a special announcement that I love, love, love Matt Morrison, the end, realized I forgot that. But since it's been brought out, might as well tell the story...
So yeah I've posted here before but I know Matt through a friend, he's so sweet and cute and well straight and I just love him. You can actually use the search feature to find my last Matt story, pretty sure I posted it here, it was...Aug 24 I believe last time I saw him in Piazza.
Okay, so today he saw me when I was like 3 rows back in the line, hehe he cracked me up, kinda made a shocked face, then smiled and pointed at me...when I finally got to the table, they said he and Richard Thomas were leaving(didn't get my Waltons DVD signed, sad, will hafta wait for stage door) so Matt was going down to the table saying bye to ppl, hugging/kissing some, another friend of mine who found me begged him to sign before he left so then I was like I think I'll survive w/o you signing for me. He laughed and said yeah I think you have quite a few, I replied actually just one but that's fine. Anyway, he finished the table, then pretty much started patting/tapping everyone on his way back, so I really debated asking for something, b/c I just adore my Matt hugs, so finally I said I don't get a tap? Don't know if he heard tap wrong or just decided to do it anyway, but then he leaned over the table, not only hugged me but kissed me(first time he's ever done that!) As Kerrie and Ryan can attest I was very, very, very happy. Noticed lots of jealous faces at me, even death stares, sorry I don't usually enjoy making ppl jealous but this was just...ahh. I'm still smiling quite wide. Even totally random burst into giggles at McDonalds.
Heh Dre, he called us the BWW gang?
Concert was AMAZING. Good stories for that, but not going to classes tomorrow, more important stuff going on, so I'm sure I'll tell then. I'm not at all tired though, even w/ my 5 hours of sleep. Think it's adrenaline.
And just looked back at my post and realized I didn't even finish details at the flea market so I'll do that. Back to the table. So know Matt, know Greg, also Jenn Gambetese who's a sweetie and when she was like Hi Amanda! my friend Chrissi who found me and "cut" me turned to me and was like god Amanda, how many bway ppl know you? I cracked up. I was like honestly only those 3 at least by name. Let's see, got Laura Benanti's autograph, talked to her about into the woods which I loved, Victoria Clark nicely signed 3 playbills I brought for her(I told her to pick two) and happily leafed through an old Titanic one I found, and then I reminded her of speaking w/ her at the stage door about seeing every show nominated for a Tony and how sdhe deserves to win, and she thought and remembered and was like yeah I was very impressed w/ you. Heh.
Umm...soap ppl wrote things to my mom...oh then Kelli I think recognized me after stage doors and chatterbox, I dunno, gave me a smile and a nod like she knew me so I just took it as such but then when I got back to Kerrie's I realized she personalized it to Goldie--my mom, who the soap ppl wrote to. She thought that was me! Ah well. Talked to Dan Fogler about drawings he drew on the table cloth, Barrett for some odd reason started flipping through my Q playbill to realize Tags was still in the show and gave me a jokingly shocked face and I was like I've tried to go back to see you I swear, haven't been lucky at lotto, and he laughed. Ooh, other best part at table others than those I know. When I got to Cheyenne he was like hey! Wait, I know you...and I was like yeah I pet your dog...and he was like oh right softball hi!! lol I really love him, and now he knows me by face anyway hehe that made me really happy, I've met Norbie like 6 times and still not sure if he recognizes me. Oh, then got Jessica Hecht to sign my Friends IQ book and I think that was it. No I lied, then 1:00 ppl started coming and I got Chris Sieber, David Hyde Pierce and Tim Curry, who is basically as hard to get as Joanna so that was great...I told him I loved Muppet Treasure Island and he was like oh wow so do I! lol. Okay, twas fflea market.
Expect a bit more in-depth of FB, particular one DRS related parody and a detailed report on concert. Talk to everyone then, I'd say have a good night but you're all almost already sleeping...well in that case...good morning Annie.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
