I tried to get a cancellation ticket to Feeling Electric tonight, I was first on the waiting list, but someone picking up tickets said they had extra so I pounced on got the ticket. It was general admission so I got to sit w/ Kerrie.
Posted kinda a review on the thread in the main board. Little fun tidbits though. Anthony waved to me at the beginning!(we were in the front row) not a huge, like hand up Miss America wave, but while he was standing w/ his hands on the side, he did a waving motion w/ his hand down, I quietly squealed lol.
I cried too, really got to you. Not quite as much as Kerrie, but we both will be hysterical tomorrow during the concert, esp. when Idina comes on.
Liz, nofe air, I was gonna post the exact line. I'm supposed to be the one to know everything about DRS...
Anywayz, cast I didn't know is very nice, got Benjamin is gorgeous...and I would just like to make a special announcement that I love Joe Cassidy. The end of announcement.
I hafta be up in 5 hours, ahh! And I can't find my V/V tape I was gonna ha e Greg sign tomorrow, ahh!

thanks Dre, this is cool!
So 500 dollars is the first bid, ...well if I had that much money I would spend it to the plane ticket and the show. But someone will win and I will kill that person
No. You know what is the best of that: yes sure, you get a picture but the time while you are sitting there and he is just looking at you.
Well, that Market must be fun, with all the stuff. Have a great day, everyone and please give me a full review about your trip there, okay?
See you later

Annie, there's no way you'd be able to sit still long enough for him to draw you! you'd be too excited. so how much is a flight to NY for you? is it really around $500??
A whopping 5 hours of sleep. Shall be an interesting day.
Totally forgot to post this last night...the third time I saw DRS was the end of March, after the show John actually drew a charicature(sp?) of himself and auctioned off the backstage visit and him drawing the charicature to the audience. (I remember Greg being really nice and helpful, but I didn't know him then Anyway, the winning bid was $2500
Congreats on all the winning with your marching band Jamie. Thats very cool. Keep it up.
For everyone whose going to be at the flea market (even though I'm sure you are all there as I type this) have a good time, take lots of pictures, and say hello to Greg for me.
thanks traci :)
i'm still upset though. :/ i woke up crying this morning, b/c i knew that i would've been in the city by now. *sigh*
at least i have you guys here to keep me company!
Its official, I'm going to see Sweeney Todd October 22nd!!!!...Patty Lupone playing the tuba...does life get any better!
I wanna go see Sweeny Todd...but I can't
We'll keep you company Jamie. Don't you worry.
Edit: And Cat I must say I'm surprised at your lack of Gif's lately. What happened?
Traci...I put up a hurray for fall gif up almost everyday this week I'll have you know!!!
And for good measure!!
And Sweeney should be running for awhile, so you may get a chance...hopefully it will break the Sondheim short run curse...
ooh, sweeny todd! AWESOME!
btw, b/c i couldn't go today, my dad promised me at least one broadway show. so, i need ur opinions on which one i should see:
Avenue Q
Wicked (if i can get *good* tickets!)
Spelling Bee
Piazza
RENT
The Producers
Chitty
Sweet Charity (however, the only reason why i'd wanna see it is cuz of christina, but i've heard that she's not the best singer)
and, that's it! i could also ask to see an upcoming show, like sweeny todd. but i think that i really need to see one soon, lol!

yes, just the tickets for 2 are: 600 dollars.
Sweeney starts Oct 3rd...so its an option, cast is playing their own instruments so who knows what it will be like though
I'd choose Piazza, but music may not be to your taste I'd listen to some first...
or
Spelling Bee, I liked spelling bee a bit more than Q...the book was just unbelievably funny, music wasn't quite as strong but I liked it alot...Plus its the only one of your list with the original cast still there!
I Stan corrected Cat. But there have not been any dancing animals or the like though.
Jamie: I would go see Avenue Q. But I've seen it three times and will most deffinately be seeing it again so I'm biased. lol. The only other show on your list that I've seen live is Wicked and I'd suggest Q over it. But that's just me.
Sweeny Todd would be a great choice too.

Gooooood morning! Going to write my Live Journal entry. Afterwards, I'll probably start memorizing the lyrics for My Funny Valentine.
Monkey bananza!
HeeHee. Thank you Cat!
Oooh...and to add something useful...I've seen all of those, as I went on a broadway binge last spring...I haven't seen a show since July now ...Ahhh!
Avenue Q was great, but it might be a bit akward seeing it with your dad, depending on your relationship, particularly during you can be as loud as the hell you want when you're making love...
anmd who liked my play on words bananza...come on you know it was genius
Very good play on words Cat.
