Haha a long post...I don't aim to make it that long as I'm one of the last to go backstage anyway...(Edit:Famous last words)
My first show since July, so I was quite excited...the lottery had about thirty people there, so Kerrie and I felt quite grim about our prospects of winning...This was my first lottery and I must say it was far more stressful than fun at least during the calling, however Kerrie's name was miraculously called
...Also met Borntoshine87(Holly) during the lottery and a couple of her friends who were also seeing the show. And got a chance to talk to Liz on the phone for the first time, and I swear I'm not giggly under normal circumstances, I blame Kerrie she's quite the champion giggler, it may have rubbed off.
Then we killed a lot of time...
Then somehow we got conned into buying comedy club tickets...gah one second we were walking and the next he was talking to us...I have absolutely no idea how it happened...erm, I'm gonna blame Kerrie for this one too
Finally time for the show, went up to the fabulous box seats, quite close to the stage, however, the left side of stage was obscured a bit, not really that distracting...One of the highlights, Michael Ian Black was in the audience, who apparently is unknown to everyone in the world, at least in the audience...(guy on I love the 80's,90's, and 70's on VH1, also on The Best week ever, and was on the show Ed) He was by himself and sat quite stoically through the show, didn't see him crack a smile...I forgive him though....he also seemed uninterested in making out with Kerrie, not sure if she forgives him...He walked around quite akwardly during intermission...I was waiting for him to do something funny...he didn't...
Bleh this is getting long, long positis its like a greg thread disease...
*Resisting urge to say show was amazing* Geez, what else is there to say about the show on this thread...Felt bad for Norbert his voice was definitely strained and he was coughing during "Great Big Stuff"...and I missed the high note at the end of the Dirty Rotten Number, although that has been gone awhile apprently...he was still great though and still went absolutely insane on stage during all the appropriate places...
Laura Marie Duncan was on for Sherrie, which was actually the impetus for this DRS Pilgrimage, she was extremely funny her voice was alot softer than Sherrie's and her belt wasn't as strong...but she was definitely worth seeing...as Kerrie would say, did say...alot

..."she's so Cute!... and I'm not a lesbian."
The crowd was unbelievable, as a group of AMDA, have no idea if those are the right initials, but over 100 acting students were there, and took every opportunity to go absolutely crazy cheering... and watching shows with Kerrie is fun as she enjoys the hell out of them and it looks as if her face may crack open from smiling...I just dont have that kind of smiling endurance...yet!
Andrew was out which was tragic, however saw Joe cassidy alot, I'm not as familiar with the ensemble as some of you...erm, completely sane individuals
Lets see, resisted the urge to stalk Michael after the show, and went backstage, got the whole tour, I'll add the obligatory wow his dressing room is small remark...saw the famous whip and whipette...I'm not one to get starstruck, but it was quite impressive meeting Greg...
Afterwards, went outside into the torrential pouring rains, met WRQ and Kerrie's friend Kadey...with a
D, famous for her love of popcorn...
Went on the subway for the first time, the real challenge was actually getting out of the subway...then found my way to penn station in the torrential pouring rains...easier said then done...
This is long, and quite similar to everyone elses accounts of the city, I suggest skimming at best, although its a little late to suggest that at this point as you've already read it, mwahahahahaha
So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
