Ok, for everyone who will the the show: enjoy and after enjoying write a review ok?
Oh, and yesterday I was soaking wet too...I hate rain. Why do all the car drivers go mad when it rains? It really a challenge for me to reach the school without getting a shower by them. Grrr...
anyone surpirsed with my post?
cool cat! can't wait for long post about backstage!
Cat you are bubbly and giggly, don't lie! I'm working off of 3 1/2 hours of sleep today, gah.

i still haven't gotten my luggage but i'm told its with a delivery man and that its on its way here. which would ROCK MY WORLD lol. but ya know what else will rock my world?! SEEING DRS TONIGHT!! FRONT ROW SEATS!!! we have an hour ride there...we listen to wicked and DRS on the way there, then DRS all the way back. cuz we have a driver, Greg, that takes us, so we get to chill and sing for my aunt and uncle ( and by we i mean me and my cousin who is awesome) SO YES...i'm soooo excited. theres nothing more exciting than seeing the show, other than seeing it front row, and going backstage after!!!!

Oh Ali, please think of me when you give an applause to John and cry for me during the song "love sneaks in".
Dre, where is the list...you decided to suprise me.
Well, I love Defying gravity! cool.
Hey all. Back in the library. Taking my computer to that place to hopefully get it all fixed up today.. we'll see!
The mother is arriving in a half hour.. woooo...
Have fun at the show tonight, Ali!
Haha a long post...I don't aim to make it that long as I'm one of the last to go backstage anyway...(Edit:Famous last words)
My first show since July, so I was quite excited...the lottery had about thirty people there, so Kerrie and I felt quite grim about our prospects of winning...This was my first lottery and I must say it was far more stressful than fun at least during the calling, however Kerrie's name was miraculously called
...Also met Borntoshine87(Holly) during the lottery and a couple of her friends who were also seeing the show. And got a chance to talk to Liz on the phone for the first time, and I swear I'm not giggly under normal circumstances, I blame Kerrie she's quite the champion giggler, it may have rubbed off.
Then we killed a lot of time...
Then somehow we got conned into buying comedy club tickets...gah one second we were walking and the next he was talking to us...I have absolutely no idea how it happened...erm, I'm gonna blame Kerrie for this one too
Finally time for the show, went up to the fabulous box seats, quite close to the stage, however, the left side of stage was obscured a bit, not really that distracting...One of the highlights, Michael Ian Black was in the audience, who apparently is unknown to everyone in the world, at least in the audience...(guy on I love the 80's,90's, and 70's on VH1, also on The Best week ever, and was on the show Ed) He was by himself and sat quite stoically through the show, didn't see him crack a smile...I forgive him though....he also seemed uninterested in making out with Kerrie, not sure if she forgives him...He walked around quite akwardly during intermission...I was waiting for him to do something funny...he didn't...
Bleh this is getting long, long positis its like a greg thread disease...
*Resisting urge to say show was amazing* Geez, what else is there to say about the show on this thread...Felt bad for Norbert his voice was definitely strained and he was coughing during "Great Big Stuff"...and I missed the high note at the end of the Dirty Rotten Number, although that has been gone awhile apprently...he was still great though and still went absolutely insane on stage during all the appropriate places...
Laura Marie Duncan was on for Sherrie, which was actually the impetus for this DRS Pilgrimage, she was extremely funny her voice was alot softer than Sherrie's and her belt wasn't as strong...but she was definitely worth seeing...as Kerrie would say, did say...alot ..."she's so Cute!... and I'm not a lesbian."
The crowd was unbelievable, as a group of AMDA, have no idea if those are the right initials, but over 100 acting students were there, and took every opportunity to go absolutely crazy cheering... and watching shows with Kerrie is fun as she enjoys the hell out of them and it looks as if her face may crack open from smiling...I just dont have that kind of smiling endurance...yet!
Andrew was out which was tragic, however saw Joe cassidy alot, I'm not as familiar with the ensemble as some of you...erm, completely sane individuals
Lets see, resisted the urge to stalk Michael after the show, and went backstage, got the whole tour, I'll add the obligatory wow his dressing room is small remark...saw the famous whip and whipette...I'm not one to get starstruck, but it was quite impressive meeting Greg...
Afterwards, went outside into the torrential pouring rains, met WRQ and Kerrie's friend Kadey...with a D, famous for her love of popcorn...
Went on the subway for the first time, the real challenge was actually getting out of the subway...then found my way to penn station in the torrential pouring rains...easier said then done...
This is long, and quite similar to everyone elses accounts of the city, I suggest skimming at best, although its a little late to suggest that at this point as you've already read it, mwahahahahaha

Dre, thank you so much for the L5Y's "the next 10 minutes" number: I love this number...and I need a tissue too...
Oh so Norbert is still under the weather huh? Poor guy. You know, if Kat is up for it, we may just see the show tonight and try the lottery. If not to meet Ali ^^. But if not, its either Wicked lottery or seeing Waiting. That movie looks great!
Oh and Amanda, I'm game to see Rent some time. I was waiting to see the movie first but if we can get good tixs or try for the lotery some time, I'm there.

in the number "Embracable you" from Crazy for you: there was a line:
"You bring the gypsy in me...
...that is because I am Hungarian"
At that point I spat my whole glass of mild to the table...
LMAO!! Yes, i forgot your hungrain. lol. that must have been funny to see.

THANK YOU DRE!
YOU MADE ME SOOOO HAPPY!
I AM A LITTLE WEEPY NOW!
Cat, I'm soo proud! And long posts really aren't a thread disease, well except for the backstage visit, I suppose I'm more famous for them constantly.
Glad you had fun, did you talk to Joe? I love him! He's really sweet and very talented, actually gotta catch him at some point and discuss a certain DRS cap I desperately want...
Perfect quote for Kerrie(lesbianism) but come on we all would fence hop for someone. Idina is gorgeous and I'd consider it, but I'd fence hop for Sarah Ramirez in a heart beat. And Kerrie's def fun to watch shows w/, though you actually didn't see her usual reaction. Any show that has a tad bit sadness to it, she bawls, I love her for it. But no crying in DRS. Ooh, I'm seeing Miss Saigon again in Conn. I'm gonna bawl soon.
Dre, okay, talk to you later today. I'll try to keep my phone w/ me, but I can be bad about answering it. Def leave a message and I'll call you eventually, promise.
Ryan, Rent lotto sounds good to me, they also offer student rush tickets. Hmm...I'm always in the city on Thursday and you always are on a Friday...ah well, we'll work something out.
Yaay for sleeping late...gotta go...back later
Its official...I do not remember a time in my life when I wasn't holding an umbrella in my hand...
See I should have borrowed your umbrella to "sing in the rain," then you would remember a moment.
Oh, I had to go somewhere w/ my mom so rushed through last post. How was your trip back Cat? I got home safely, but it was a rough bus ride and I got pretty sick, never gotten bus sick before
Ooh, stage door stories before you guys came out. So Kevin told the crowd no one was signing, but there still was an enormous crowd out. Norbie was out first, smiled and waved to a couple of people before leaving. John came out and shook hands w/ everyone who wanted to since he couldn't sign in the rain, he's just awesome to the fans. However, Laura Marie Duncan, who I talked to at the Flea Market and is a sweetie anyway, stayed out a while under her umbrella, signed everything and took pictures in the rain. I really like her, and am excited to see her tomorrow.
So I was still at the door, didn't see Kadey standing a way for a while, but there were still tons of people there. I was so impressed w/ everyone standing in the rain to meet Greg and others, everyone seemed so excited. Finally someone said something about Norbie and I'm like, wait you're not waiting for him are you? They're like yeah, I'm like ohh...he left already...and they were like REALLY? Lots of ppl missed him, guess he came out sooner than I thought...anyway as they told others and I told others suddenly the huge crowd left and I felt like a crowd displacer...well the excited crew who was very entertained by Greg stayed that was nice to watch. I dunno, I just cracked myself up at how quickly I cleared out that crowd.
It was horrible...the train crashed...I didn't survive...
okay, I MISSED A LOT (in one night!)
dre: CONGRATS ON MAKING THE PLAY! omg, LEAD!? and ur a FRESHMAN!? HOW COOL!
and, about the making out scene, wow. well, what can i say? that will just be another experience to enhance your theatrical knowledge. but, just curious, and sorry if this is too personal, but, have u ever made out with a guy before? i find ur whole situation interesting, lol-just wanna know what it's like.
ALI-OMG! I'M SOOOO EXCITED! *starts to dance* ur probably already in the city now, but HAVE FUN! oh man, we've been counting down this day for MONTHS! glad it's finally gonna come true soon.
and sorry about ur luggage. but...WHO CARES WHEN UR GONNA SEE DRS!? lol
Annie: OMG, i TOTALLY FORGOT about that hungarian line in crazy for you! haha, it's HILARIOUS. i LOVE that musical.
Cat-I LOVED YOUR STORY. that's so cool that you got to win the lottery. AND...i'm jealous cuz u apparently got a really good audience. i LOVE audiences that are so into the shows, and i LOVE cheering. (i remember when i went. i was sitting around a bunch of middle aged people. and i was the only one screaming my head off, haha!) plus, i'm so happy that u've finally met greg! (about time, too! ) and i agree-LAURA IS SOOOO CUUUUTE!
"Andrew was out which was tragic, however saw Joe cassidy alot, I'm not as familiar with the ensemble as some of you...erm, completely sane individuals "
aww that's okay, andrew's a busy man. but u got to see my OTHER favorite male ensemble member-JOE! isn't he the coolest? :)
haha. thanks for calling me "completely sane."
Amanda-that is SO nice of laura to stay out in the rain with the fans. i dunno-i think it's nice when the understudies who go on that night backstage afterwards-they usually always stay out for EVERYBODY, because, u know, they don't usually get tons of fans waiting for their signature. (that happened with joe-he made sure to stay until the whole crowd was gone) it's like a little breath of fresh air. haha, that sounded corny.
now, about my day!
i got the highest test score in my history class! wooohoo!
and remember when i told u guys that i was failing pre-calc, and was going to spend less time on this thread and start studying?
well, i didn't spend THAT much less time on this thread (lol) but i DID spend more time studying yesterday. because a lot of us in the class had did poorly on that test, she gave us the opportunity to take a re-take, and if that grade was better, she'd take the average of the two tests and that would be our new grade.
well...i stayed after school today to take the re-take...AND I GOT AN 86! i know, NOT the best grade, but i improved from my last test score by...about 50 points. yes. THAT'S how badly i did last time. and THAT'S why i was so upset that day.
it's SUCH a good feeling when i know that my hard work was not put to waste and i improved my grade. a lot. :)
life is good!

Hey everyone. Well, the good news is that I have Monday off. The bad news is, I left my "Boo Grams" in my math class. Argh. First, the flour baby gets lost, then these!
So...what's up?
