wow. he looks creepy. weird looking guy. and he likes you? sorry liz!
So he says...
Greg will be happy. There is a film version of Dreamgirls coming out.
Well I suppose that depends how much he likes Usher and Beyonce...
it's jamie foxx, not usher.
well, according to Amanda, it's Greg's favorite musical.
Usher is in it too...

The teacher doesn't look half as creppy as someone I know. I'll find a picture and try putting it up.
Yeah, Greg told me Dreamgirls is his fav.

one of my high school teachers came in my freshman year right out of college..and he was (and still is) HOT. like woah. i love him. sooo cute. and now we're best friends..i talk to him all the time, we've gone on dates..its a fun time
WoW. That's the teacher? Somehow I expected him to be more...Well, I don't know actually. lol. He's very sketchy looking. I wouldn't want to have him as a teacher.
is usher in it? hmmm...imbd didn;t say anything. Eddie Murphy is in it too. and imdb didn't have him listed. so, yeah, cool. I sort of know Anika. She is really nice and awesome person to hang out with. Went bowling with her and a group of people at like midnight once.
Ali: you went on dates with him? lucky. when I was a senior in high school (last year), in physics, we had a student teacher who was really hott! and since I was on a lot of field trips near the beginning of the year, I would come in during lunch or something and he would help me with the lab. And I suggested a book and he read it and told me he liked it a lot. so, I miss him.

Well...I had a psych teacher that my whole school was in love w/, he left after 2 years though. My pit director/band teacher is still a good friend of mine, I knew our first year at pit when he was gonna propose to his girlfriend and I was at the wedding. We both cried my last night in pit. But now that I'm back in the county, I end up at the school lots, esp. when I have cancelled classes. But yeah, never dates I guess he's cute, but married w/ an adorable kid...who's talking and walking now...was born 2 years after I met Schwartz...I feel old!
"he was gonna postpone to his girlfriend " do you mean propose? lol.

Hi all. I'm just doing my regular Wednesday pop-in and I discover there's no cam and still no Annie. I'm gonna have to send that lady a snail-mail card. Unfortunately with the time it would take to get there and THEN get a response back, I'll probably die of old age and she'll get married and have a few kids and .....
But I digress.... Guess what? I might get a chance to see the 2nd act of DRS after all! If things work out all right, I might be able to get to town for the matinee on 11/12. PRAY FOR ME!!!
edit: Also pray that everybody is there. Or at least that Greg and John are there.
edit 2: and Norbie and Joanna...and Sheri and Sara...
edit 3: and Andrew and Roxanne and Joe and Laura Marie and Tom and Sally Mae.....
Good luck Mamie...Norbert is pretty must see too...
It finally occured to me that I could check and annie hasn't posted since Oct.14th

here's my "Amanda sized" post everyone!!
I was totally nervous going to the show. We had to stop by the hotel room so I could pick up the tickets and my L5Y cd. Of course we got lost on the subway. Eeek, I got so anxious about being late!! But, eventually we made it to the theatre. I noticed Dre on the way in, but we were hauling a** and I just wanted to get in there. So we get in line. I buy $85 of merch and down an orange juice before we sit down. I was sooo nervous/excited before the show. I couldn't stop shaking. No joke. And all throughout the show tears were in my eyes, I couldn't believe I was there seeing DRS!!! When GBS started I seriously about cried.
Ohhh, and during Oklahoma! does Sara chew the gum the entire time during the song?? 'Cause it looked like she got a little choked on it, and then she took it out of her mouth and stuck it on top of the light on the table. I think it was a little goof, 'cause John looked stunned/amused. They smiled and sort of silently laughed for a sec, then she proceeded with the song.
I was actually looking forward to see them get the giggles, but no one did.
...So, after the show, we hurry to the stage door. Only about 3 people were there, so I made my way to the front of the barricade. We wait. Ensemble slowly comes out. Stephen C. was already out there chatting with some guy. I got shy and didn't talk to him. Gah, he's a total hottie. John was out first. He signed my playbill and commented on my Sweeney Todd shirt. He asked if I'd seen it yet, and I said that it was amazing. He said something to the effect of he knew it would be. Norbie came out a few minutes later. I wasn't prepared, I had to quickly fumble in my purse and pull out my L5Y cd booklet. I was shaking soooo bad. I called him over and I can't even remember if I said anything to him. haha. I think Andrew was next. Called him over and said something dorky like, "I watch you on the cam." Got siggy and piccy.
HOTTNESS!!!! After Andrew left someone to the side of me asked "what part did he play?" Dude, that pissed me off! I told them that he was in the ensemble. But I was kind of relieved when they said like a minute later to one another "they do so much for the show." Then Sherrie signed my cd book, too...YES!!...then got Sara's sig. Then comes Dolly, she was moving quickly, talking with some other girl. I called her over, she was shocked. Once the other girl realized that I was stealing her, she left. I was all cool with Dolly, I was like, "Hey, i see you on Greg's Cam all the time, get over here and take a picture with me!" And I told her how we all get so excited to see her. She was quite amused! yay! So after that I go up to Kevin and try to go backstage to meet Greg. ....now I have a "Kevin was mean to me!" story, too. He said that Greg didn't mention it to him. I knew Greg was back there with his in-laws, so I just waited patiently for him to come out. So he does like 15 min. later and starts apologizing to the people still there for being so long. Then he signs. I go up to him, and while he's signing for him, I introduce myself. Then we get into the Nazi Kevin thing. Greg felt sooo bad. He apologized over and over to me. He was like "you're kidding me?!?! He wouldn't let you back?!" So then it turned into me meeting Dre & Amanda, and all of us talking on the street till like midnight. It was fricken awesome. I loved meeting Amanda and Dre!!!
So that night, Greg invited me back after Sunday's show. I go back and get my own personal backstage tour. Greg is such a doll! He introduced me to like everyone backstage. Even passing on the stairs, he'd stop and introduce me! So sweet! I got to meet Jack who is a tiny guy. haha. Still gorgeous, but like miniature in real life. haha. Saw Patrick (John's p.a.) for a second. Wanted to say "Hi", but I got shy again. So at one point when we're downstairs, we pass a room and Dolly was in there with someone else talking. Greg introduced me and she remembered me and we laughed about it. Then on to the room where they keep the wigs. The woman who styles them was there as well as an ensemble girl (sorry i don't know who!) still getting ready to leave. They were REALLY sweet. The wig lady (again, sorry about the name), asked me if I'd seen the show. I said I did last night, and she said "weren't the wigs great??" haha. she's precious! I was like "the whole thing was great!" then i paused and said "....buuuut, the wigs were the best part!!!" she got a kick out of that!
And we were talking about the ensemble's dressing quarters down there, and I got to go in and peek at all the outfits lined up. Naturally I wondered which section was Andrew's! I secretly wanted to touch his cowboy boots, but sadly I couldn't bring myself to gush infront of Greg about Andrew. haha. So we leave that area and I got to go stand in the pit and stuff. Cool. He mentioned earlier how one of his sons enjoyed playing the drums. Awww, I want Greg to adopt me! Oh...and when he was showing me one of the prop areas, he pointed out the beef jerky. I told him that I thought Norbert deserved the Tony for that bit alone. He agreed and told me how just within the last week or so, during that part where he's on the floor spazzing out his mic has began to cut out. I said, that it made a loud popping noise during the show Sat. night. So, apparently Norb's mic is suffering the jerky wrath! haha.
We head out. Walk down the street a bit, then wait for his bus. An older couple recognized him. The guy said he used to work for John or something. They complimented Greg on such a good show, and of course, Greg said that he had it made and the rest of the cast should take all the credit. They say goodbye, and Greg was almost giddy. ...well, not so much "giddy" but you could tell that he really appreciates the recognition and was genuinely touched. So we eventually parted ways. Being the sweetheart he is, Greg made sure I knew where to catch the right subway. So, my glorious 45 min. or so with Greg ended with a big hug, and me feeling on top of the world. A dream come true. "I loved it all"
