Alright, missed another cam(of course), got back from a fun city day a bit while ago, have been catching up. Going to read what I missed(way for me to have to be fully catched up on BWW before I let myself sleep...not that I'm tired), but wanted to drop in for the living vicariously through me posters. Saw Piazza this afternoon for the third time, fantastic as usual, glad I got to bring my mom. All leads were great, Victoria just makes me feel so happy that I've been able to witness her phenomenal performance. And Matt was wonderful, and Kelli's voice is great, and actually Mark Harelik really stood out to me this time, everyone is so great in that show, but I fear he's a tad undercredited. Glad I got to see him one more time as well. Talked to Matt after the show, told him I'm looking forward to Naked Boy. Very embarassed. Talk about Freudian slips, but that aside I got my fourth hug hehe and when he left he kinda grabbed my elbow and shook it a bit and said nice to see you so now I get to say I've gotten 4 Matt hugs and an elbow shake(I think saying I got an elbow shake sounds soo funny...)
At night finally saw Pillowman--I rarely see nonmusicals but heard such great things about this that I had to see it-glad I did! It was amazing! Fairly disturbing and a big jumpy moment, but really intelligent and thought-provoking. Soo glad I saw this.
the cast was soo nice, I got a slightly better pic with Billy Crudup, but I think b/c that stage door is diagnal I can't get the best pose. Oh well. He thanked me after I thanked him, soo nice. And Jeff Goldblum talked to people for quite a bit, he ended up asking a family where they're from, etc. took a few pics with the same people, joked about needing sleep, then kinda forgot where he was going on the way out, amusing.
We were talking about Hugh Panaro earlier and it reminded me I never got to see him after I recently saw Phantom, so we stopped by the stage door and he came out in a minute or so--he is sooo nice! I took a picture and was wearing a pound puppies shirt and he was like aww! pound puppies I love them, he asked if the picture came out if I wanted another, and a little girl was there and he personalized her playbill, I'm really glad I was finally able to meet him.
So yeah fun city day. Catchin gup on thread. Damnit I really should sleep soon...
