Here's a quick suggestion for any fans who might be thinking of sending Greg a birthday gift but have no idea what to send to him.
Please consider an all-occasion "CareCard" from BC/EFA sent to him in honor of his birthday. It requires a minimum $15 donation to BC/EFA. Greg will get a card from you via BC/EFA telling him "a contribution has been made to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS" and you'll be helping a great organization that's near to the heart of Broadway performers. Currently you can't order directly through their web site, but the site gives a number to call, and just give them the info ... how much you want to donate and that you want one of the all-occasion cards sent to Greg ... have 'em send it to the Imperial Theatre's address of course. Here's the stage door address Greg gave me to post on his web site for fan mail to be sent to him:

Aww now that's a great idea Barb! The first time I went to a DRS softball game before I went backstage I gave a teaser to Greg that I got him something, and he definitely replied with a oh you really don't have to, please don't feel you have to kind of thing, but I promised it was little. I will definitely consider that, or something along those lines.

That's a great idea Barb, plus I make sure to donate to BC/EFA every year as it is. I also made sure to put $10 in the hat at Avenue Q both times when I was there two weeks ago. I'll deffinately consider doing that.

great idea barb. i support bcefa alot. i get a xmas cd that the shows record every year along with if i see b'way cares performance i'll get something from the show or put money in for them.

:) oh, don't ask for that extension (251) that's on the web site unless you call on/after August 30 -- the guy who belongs to that extension is out; instead tell them you're calling about ordering a CareCard and they'll transfer you to someone in that dept. You may still get someone's voice mail, but at least it should be someone who can return your call if you leave your number. Me, I don't talk to machines, so I'll keep trying until I get someone "live".
It was so much simpler when you could order via their web site. I hope they get the forms back online soon.
