happy Birtday Sarah!
Yup, so so. Kinda lowering from the high I was on Monday Night, though I'll prob be more excited once I get the pics. 3 straight days of school...eh, you know...nothing's fabulous, and dealing w/ depressing things, leaves me w/ so-so.
Well then, Happy Birthday Sarah!!

May I ask how old will you be?
In that case so-so is good. It could always be worse.

thanks for the birthday wishes, girls. i'll be 26, Annie.
Wow happy early b-day Sarah!
Second year in terms of BWW my b-day timing is bad. Last year, it was a couple months before I joined. This year, it was a bit before I really started talking to you guys where I would get pretty things
Eh, always hated having a summer b-day...ah well.
I suppose Traci. It's weird though, I'm usually quite bipolar and either really happy or really sad. Guess I'll agree, should be more excited about show and bowling tomorrow.
Wow, I didn't realize you were that much older than me(hope you take that as a compliment...)
Hmm, how old did/do I look?
WoW. I so thought that you were like 19 Sarah. I was way off.

Why amanda, how old are you?
Congrats on the job Ali, sounds like one of those jobs you can get a lot of work done while at...
Hmmm, okay need a bit of advice. My essay is a definion essay, purpose is to clarify especially vage and controversial kinds of ideas. I have to write on suffering. Gonna start w/ my own narrative on suffering, define it w/ history traces, and contrast innter turmoil w/ situational turmoil, refer to poem we have to use as illustration. But...I feel like this needs more of a point. The other definition essay I wrote was on fanatic, the point was shoiwng that fanatics are great and defying bad stereotypes. I don't know if I need one, but want one anyway. What could be my point in writing about suffering?

you do look young, Amanda.
I think you look about 25 Annie, maybe a year younger, you have an adult like look though.
I'm 19...when I was 18 and I asked this question I was always told I looked 20...was hoping at 19 I'd look 21...though I've been served before, I think usually I'm borderline. If I'm w/ a friend who's older, I can order drinks if I want, if I'm w/ a friend who's younger or looks younger, they ID me. But i've never been told I look 16...
All I could think is you've never seen me in person just pics and I suppose I'm really happy in pics and I get a grin on my face that makes me look younger...
Except Sarah's seen me in person. I'm hardly ever told I look younger, usually people think I'm the oldest of my 3 sisters(i'm youngest.) ::returns to crying::
do i look almos 19?
happy b-day sarah. you seriously don;t look 26. if that is ok.
might have to go soon.
ps. there is a LOT of banging going on on the roof. I swear someone fell over and died. it's freaking me out.
Well, it depends on which way you want to go. You could either talk about how one persons suffering can cause another person to be happy. ie, shadenfraude. but I don't think that's the way you want to go with your essay. So I'd say, Suffering can make you stronger. It can help you cope in a way. Like, instead of supressing your suffering you let it out so that others may help you through the bad times.
OMG Traci that's perfect to go along w/ my experience!! Thank you!!!
Well unless I use OED's third definiton of suffering which is the act of dying...will hafta differentiate

it's not a bad thing, Amanda. you're very spunky/hyper (), and you're short and have curly hair...it's like the whole package makes you seem younger. i don't know, but it's not a bad thing.
Gah why are your essays so much more interesting than mine...
