Wow I'm scared of my rapidly approaching 1 year @BWW...
Lunch with Grandmother and family today...should only be mildly painful and tedious...le sigh...pray for my sane return....
On my way to a surprise birthday party. It should be fun.

I agree with the hottest leading men part! And about Jen & Brad...it was precious.
lalalalalalalalalala. Today's quite slow, what's new everybody?
ok, just finished wastching the whole American Theatre Wing video that Ryan and Annie pointed out (Ryan: the transcript, Annie: the video). anyway, if you get a chance, you HAVE to watch it! New found love for DRS and evryone involved. And learned so much about the process too. These are the things you have to look out for if you do watch it:
1. Norbert brings up the "balcony scene" idea and how there was so much more to it i.e. more physical comedy. And he asks Jack O'Brien why he cut it out, since everyone one in the show laughed until they were sick. And O'Brien said something along the lines of that they had it just to get laughs, they really didn;t need it to get the whole musical point across, which I think is good, but I would have love to have seen what else Greg and Joanna had to do up there. lol.
2. Annie, you'll love this....i thinki. Jack O'Brien called John a "Theatre animal." Which I think is a great name for him.
and 3. Norb tells them a great story of when he went to a ballgame with John and how funny it was. That story is near the end of the video.
But, seriously, even if you read the transcript, you have to see the video. Facial expressions and how people said things; too good to miss. here's the website again (just scroll down to Production: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels):
ATW production video of DRS
I watched the video the other day and loved it. It was very interesting and I learned some new things about the show. It was really funny too. Specially that bald-headed-man-with-glasses-that-has-a-tendency-to-get-in-peoples-pictures. AKA David Yazbek. lol.
I've been looking through all of the other videos for others that seam worth watching.
yeah AKA David Yazbek! awesome guy! Do you think he knew you were taking a picture, Traci?
oh, any other good videos?
To tell you the truth I do. I think he recagonized us from having been backstage just before and therefore did it on purpose. But if not, I'm still glad he walked infront of my camera.
There are a lot of good viseos. The performance ones are cool. I just started watching the one with Billy Crudup, David Hyde Pierce and Raul Esparza.
Edit: I also think the one on Avenue Q will be very interesting. I'll watch that one next.
Soooo who loves my avatar!? I do!
